Hello. Fresh grad po ako, and I really don't want to work for experience here for Pinas. Can I do that in australia? Like may mga option ba na study 1 or 2 years in Australia tapos after that they will allow you to work there? Bale para siyang bridging para sa fresh grads na gusto mag stay agad sa australia then work after studying. Thank you so much!!

Hello everyone, I hope ur all safe.

Ask ko lng po if I can claim points for additional 1 year work experience (outside Australia) even if it was not assessed by ANMAC?

My case is after bridging course, nagpa-assess ako sa ANMAC for my previous 4 yrs work exp. Knowing matatagalan pa po ang invite, I've worked for another year in a similar area (medical). This is a recent experience at hnd na po na-include ito when I applied sa ANMAC for assessment.

Shall I re-apply in ANMAC for this addtl 1 year experience so that I can claim points for visa? Or kahit hnd na po since same anzsco code (medical) naman po ito?

    Thanks in advance! ๐Ÿ˜Š

@Crischu dont claim points for non-assessed experience. In your case, you may need it to increase your points (5 yrs) so apply for a new assessment from ANMAC instead.

    ANZSCO Code: 254423 | Age : 25 , Education: 15, Experience: 15, OET: 10| 65 Points

Nov-Dec 2018 - Completed AHPRA Registration, ANMAC Assessment and Job Offer
Jan 2019 - Submitted EOI for VISA190 (QLD, offshore) and Applied for TSS (482) VISA
Feb 2019 - TSS VISA Approved and received ITA for 190 (QLD)
March 2019 - Lodged 190 (QLD) VISA application offshore
April 2019 - Started work in QLD via TSS (482) VISA
Oct 2019 - 190 (QLD) granted - Thank you Lord and everyone in the forum!

I think pwedeng mag claim ng points for experience after ANMAC Assessment simply for the reason that an ANMAC assessment is valid for 2 years, meaning that they allow change in circumstances. In your case, from the initial points for the "more than 3 years but less than 5 years" to "5 years but less than 8".

Also, if you check the ANMAC Letter of Determination, it states:

This advice is in the opinion of ANMAC and does not guarantee the rewarding of any points under the skilled migration points test. Determination of points under the skilled migration points test remains at the discretion of delegated officers of the Department of Immigration and Border Protection.

Of course, this is based on the LOD that was sent to me... yours may be different.

First step is registration with AHPRA. Basic info and documentary requirements can be found here (https://pinoyau.info/discussion/8762/nurses-what-you-need-to-know/p1). Although, instead of the bridging program, she will be referred to OBA.

Once registered, she will need to be assessed by ANMAC to gauge if she would qualify under the General Skilled Migration Program.

The experience need not be in hospital setting... I think even as school nurse, company nurse, nursing instructor is counted. However it must count to 450 hours nursing experience within the last 5 years.

80 points for 189, 85 for 190. Offshore. Is there any chance kaya na mainvite? And pano po ba makakuha ng 186 visa? Akala ko kc 186 is only given for those onshore applicants currently working with the employer na magssponsor. Pero un pala, there are sponsorhips offered kahit offshore.

It all comes down to finding an employer willing to sponsor you kahit offshore. Eto naman yung mahirap sa lahat eh. You can do the traditional way, start sending your CVs kung may matamaan kang employer na willing to sponsor.

Wala na masyado discussion about nursing dito for the past 6 months or so. Marami ako nakikita sa mga fb groups about nursing in Au.

@cucci hello po. Good morning. Ask ko lang situation ng bro in law ko, 41yo na sya with 15yrs experience in a hospital setting sa Riyadh. Pero plan palang mag OBA, since di pa open, di pa nya nagagawa. Pwede pa rin kaya sya mag 1yr conversion course?

Yun sa visa 186, nabasa ko basta makapag work ka before ka mag 45, magiging exempted ka sa age IF medical professional ka, and currently working sa regional australia.

So humahabol sana sya na maging RN before 43, and makapag work before 44 para mag qualify sa condition ng visa 186

Pero if I am in his case, I would opt for OBA rather than conversion because of the shorter ang time-frame.

The demand is more specially with this covid situation, however, because one needs to be licensed in Au to be invited and to get the license once needs to undergo further education and training via bridging program, OBA or nursing conversion unless coming from countries whose nursing programs are recognized as equivalent to Au standards, the process becomes complicated.
As to which visa, it really depends on your circumstances specially where you can get the most points for skilled migration.

    Hello, asking for my sister.
Bale may 10 years of O.R. nurse experience sya sa PH. Currently, O.R. nurse din siya sa Singapore and she's been working there for 1.5 years already. Her husband and 2 kids are in PH and iniisip nila na magmigrate dito sa AU since andito na din ako.
Ano po kayang ways para makawork or migrate sya dito? If mag apply siya for AHPRA registration, based on her experience kelangan nya kayang mag bridging program pa?
Possible ba magapply for migration ng hindi pa registered sa AHPRA?

Iniisip namin ang possible ways. Possible kaya yang mga options na yan?
    1. AHPRA Registration -> Sponsor work from employer -> Apply for PR
    2. Apply for PR -> AHPRA Registration -> Look for employer
    3. AHPRA Registration -> Apply for PR -> Look for employer

Sorry po dami kong tanong. Salamat sa magrereply.
