    @ryza, hi :)
    http://www.visabureau.com/australia/state-migration-plans.aspx

So in your case, just click the link for QLD and then there should be some instructions on how to apply for sponsorship somewhere in the site :)

Initially, I was planning to apply for state sponsorship sa Victoria, kaso naisip ko na I need to wait for at least 2 months for the result. So I just decided to proceed and apply for skilled independent. Now that I have lodged it, I was thinking na "baka" pwede mag apply ng State Sponsorship while waiting for any progress. Is this possible? Na halimbawa maging positive ang result, I can just inform the immig by sending a "change of circumstance" or any letter informing my intention to follow a 176 path.

Im just finding ways to gain additional points, currently I am holding exact 65pts.

    Salamat!

@onesilvertwo pareho tayo, naisip ko din yang alternative way... may nabasa 'ko sa ibang forum na nagswitch from 175 to 176 after 175 lodgement sa DIAC then got a state sponsorship... dito ko nabasa yung mas recent
    http://www.expatforum.com/expats/australia-expat-forum-expats-living-australia/52326-175-176-after-july-1-a.html

Sana may ibang members pa dito na makapag-share ng ideas & baka meron ng dumaan sa ganitong process din - from 175 switch to 176 :)

@mimaahk nabasa ko na link na bigay mo. tara after mo mag lodge apply tayo. ako naman kasi di ako SAP or Java or Admin ng Unix o Linux na nirerequire nila. though gumamit ako ng unix at linux as platform hindi administration (I suppose yung specialization na required nila ay sa administration).

Ipipilit ko lang ang experience ko, malay mo, pumasa. haha! mas ok itry than hayaan nalang without trying. libre naman.

oooops, mukhang hindi na pwede mag switch from 175 to 176 if an applicant lodged the application on or after July 1, 2010 as explained in Q8 from the link below:

@mimaahk and @onesilvertwo, naisip ko din na apply for state sponsorship then convert my 175 to 176. Kaso hindi na nga pwede. Otherwise, need to lodge another application and pay again the visa application fee. :)

Nominated Occupation: Software Engineer (261313) - Husband is the primary applicant.

10.21.2012 - Arrived in Melbourne. This is the day that the Lord has made. :)
03.26.2012 - Visa granted. God is good, all the time! All the time, God is good! :)
03.23.2012 - PCC submitted and medicals finalized
03.02.2012 - Application being processed further / CO assigned
    06.26.2011 - Lodged Visa 175 application

@LokiJr I.T. ka din diba? if yes in what field if you are on Admin/Engr/Mgr side forget about ACT. It was my big regret way back March 2012 when I have chosen ACT over South Australia. If you will try to look for a job right now sa ACT mapapansin mo lagi may nakalagay na "Security Clearance Required" which means e kailangan Australian Citizen dati akala ko normal clearance lang yan.

Hi to all!

Just indicate the amount and that's it. However some states like ACT, NSW, NT require bank statement account reflecting your savings for 3 months or more.

Wow! ganun ba kabilis? Dapat pala once I lodge my application, ready ako for everything ???
Sorry about the cold cash, hehehe...kung anu-ano pumpasok sa isip ko kasi sa totoo lang wala pa akong malaking pera to show as proof of fund. Pero kung hindi naman sila ganun kahigpit sa pagc-check on that matter...it's a good news then. Thanks for the feedback.

Hindi ko lang talaga alam pa if mahigipit sila sa requirements kasi hindi pa ko nakapag-lodge ng visa application, nasa step 1 pa lang ak which is taking IELTS.....according sa mga na-check kong website ng different states, iba-iba yung amount na required fee nila.
