hi! what if ung payroll account 10 years ago sa previous employer closed na and hindi ko nadin alam ung acccount number, possible pa ba makakuha ng bank statement? anu po alternative sa bank statement? May naitago po ako payslip but 5 months only out of 24 months. Pwede na ba ung ITR, SSS, Pag-ibig, Philhealth, reference letter, and ID? Salamat

Maybe try contacting the previous employer to ask if they can print out/email you copies of your payslip? As a company, normally they would keep records for a certain amount of years.

    Salamat Ms. Athelene! 😊

Hello po sa mga former SV holder po na pinoy eng'g professionals na nag apply agad ng 189 or 190 over 485 visa at sa mga may experiences related to this. Good day, incoming international student po ako, intake would be on Jan 2023, planning to apply for a Visa 189/190 a year after I get settled for studies there. I have already prepared my CDR for EA's Migration Skill Assessment and would be keen to apply months after I started my schooling. Will there be any issue with that plan po? Sayang po ba iyong Subclass 485 visa kapag di ko nagamit or okay lang po isunod siyang i-apply sa 189 or 190 since after finishing the course ko pa po pwede ma-i-apply si Subclass 485 (Graduate Work Stream) Visa?

I'm a structural engineer po for less than 4 yrs here in PH and will be taking up a course related to Civil/Structural Engineering po in AUS. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts po. God bless us all.

What is the purpose for you studying in Australia then? If you apply for 189/190 while you're still studying, you won't get points for Australian study, as you need to have completed the 2-year program to gain points for that. Your 4 years of overseas experience can potentially by deducted by EA, so there's also no assurance that you will get the minimum 3 years to gain points for overseas experience. In the end you will have to look at your overall points and profile. Some people here might have maxed out the overseas work experience so applying so soon after starting their studies has worked for them. At this point, the more points you have, the better your chance of getting invited. So if you finish your program first, you gain the AU study points, and when you get access to the 485 visa, you can get full work rights. You can try to gain the one year work experience while on the 485 to gain more points too.

As far as I know, when you apply for a substantial visa and a bridging visa gets issued, the conditions from your previous visa will generally apply. So if you were on a student visa when you apply for 189/190, the restrictions from visa 500 will apply on your bridging (i.e. limited to 40 hrs/fortnight), until the 189/190 visa is approved. So you really have to think ahead on what your timing and decision to apply for the visa will be.

As an international student, you should already be aware that the visa 485 is only granted once in your lifetime, and you can only apply for it within 6 months of finishing your program (like after the completion letter is given, not after graduation). You wouldn't need to apply for a 485 visa when the 189/190 is granted because a 485 visa is only a temporary visa.

EA doesn’t expire but DHA only accepts up to 3 years from issue date. You need to get your outcome letter re-instated. It’s a simple procedure. Check EA website

Bale ako kasi main applicant po so para makapag claim ako ng points po from him (10 pts), need nya mag PTE and skills assessment. This november baka mag pte na po sya so makakapagclaim na ako ng 5 pts sakanya. Bale for skills assessment po, tanong ko lang po if ano ang initial process for EA? Nabasa ko MSA booklet po and medyo nalilito lang kmi po kasi wala dun stated na required number of years na experience po para makapag file for assessment (Unlike sa profession ko po medtech ako na dapat naka 2 yrs na kami work exp para lang ma assess ng assessing body naman which is si AIMS). Bale graduate po sya BS Electronics Engineering currently working po as site engineer sa isang telco dito sa ph pero less than a year palang. Maglolocal boards palang po sya sa april 2023.

Ilang years po ba dapat work exp ang pwede na makapag pa assess for EA? or talaga ba wala sila nirerequire po?

Maraming salamat po! huhu Hingi lang sana kami insights para if in case po medyo alanganin pa mag pa assess, yung pte nalang nya ang kukunan ko ng points and di na kami magpproceed sa skills assessment nya.

Work experience isn’t a requirement to get a positive skills assessment. We’ve had clients without work experience assessed positive. If you want to claim points for work experience, that’s when you’ll need to have your experience assessed. For your partner’s case, best to be assessed for both so you have two occupations to bank on later on. Hope that helps.

Thank you

Hi silent reader here, want to ask for my husband po (using his account kc di po ako makalogin - forgot ko na po pw ko😅)
Anyway ask ko lng po, common po ba sa agent na they will not do the duplicate letter for you? (EA requested po us to submit duplicate letter). Sorry for asking kc parang weird lang po na kinuha us sya as agent to help us pero baket naman po ganun? Or talagang it is a practice na di po nila covered ang pag gawa ng duplicate letter (even we are willing naman po to pay additional fee for that).

And if ever kme po gagawa ng duplicate letter us, pwede po ba iadd namin ung current experience ng husband ko po? (to add points po sa score nya).
'Hope my may makasagot.

Thank you for this po! Yes po ako kasi ang may 5 years work exp po kaya ako yung naging main applicant sa visa and Gusto lang din nya mag pa skills assessment po for me to be able to claim partner points po. Thank you

Thank you po!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to avail RSEA for the peace of mind sa claiming of points. Additional fees are incurred pero bawas isipin po in the long run. Moreover, macocompute mo agad kung ilang years ang ma-aassess sa yo and you can claim these with confidence when you submit your EOI. Hope it helps. :)

Hi. I'm an Electrical Engineer by profession and currently working as a shift supervisor in a power plant here in PH. 11 years na ako as Operation personnel and this is my first job. My only experience is the operation of our power plant, nag-iiba lang ako ng position due to promotion. Nahihirapan lang ako gumawa ng CDR since my experiences are mostly SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) based lang. Though my work includes operating high voltage circuit breakers, protective relays, troubleshooting using interlock diagrams. I have the highest position when it comes to the operation of the plant pero parang ang basic parin po na hindi sya ma-consider as pang-Electrical Engineering. Thank you po. :))

Most of my CDR references kasi from EE ay project based (Electrical design, Power Plant Commissioning, etcc which is I think na pang EE talaga)

Search mo ung ANZSCO ng electrical engineer at makikita mo ung mga job description/roles. Tapos try to match ung current roles and responsibilities mo ngaun and past experience. As much as possible macover mo ung majority ng nasa ANZSCO na roles. Goodluck!

Mukhang i-edit ko nga ulit yung CEs ko. Naka 16 pages na ako and most of my discussions there are about Thermodynamics / Fluid Mechanics. Ilapit ko nalang sa EE task. Maybe I'm just overthinking na simple lang yung task ng EE kasi EE ako. Thank you so much! :)

For the silent readers, ito yung nakita ko na EE tasks related to Power Plant Operations

    • Determining the type and arrangement of circuits, transformers, circuit-breakers, transmission lines and other equipment
    • Interpreting specifications, drawings, standards and regulations relating to electric power equipment and use
    • Establishing delivery and installation schedules for machines, switchgear, cables and fittings
    • Supervising the operation and maintenance of power stations, transmission and distribution systems and industrial plants

Sa mga makakabasa po nito na EE whose CEs are related/similar to Power Plant Operations, baka po pwede makahingi ng sample CEs. Hehe. Ty in advanced.

And dapat pala is hanapin kung saang occupation sya magmamatch depende sa anzco code kasi napakalawak pala po ng ECE. Baka sa telecom engr na description pala sya pasok hahaha Thank you very much po Ms. Anne!

Thank you po @annedetermined and @RheaMARN1171933 <3 Ok po, pagplanuhan namin po. Okay po noted po. So mag focus nalang kami sa CDR since dependent po sya.

Alright - check mo din ung ANZCO code na ito https://www.acacia-au.com/anzsco/233513.php Pero not sure kung me nabigyan ng skills assessment ng production plant engineer na ang EE degree. Others can comments if any

TIA po.

Hi. I don't have an idea regarding the 'agent' concern, since I'm doing DIY. Hehe

Regarding EA Duplicate letter, DUPLICATE LETTER is just a duplicated copy of the outcome letter. No info will be changed since it's just a copy. If you wish to add years of experience (different company from previously assessed employment), you will need to be assessed again by EA. Which means paying in full again. Others might have a different insight about it. Godspeed!
