Dati po akong Project Engineer sa isang Oil and Gas project and nagpapa-assess currently sa EA as Plant or Production Engineer.

"Please attach some pictures/drawings and numerical calculations that you have done for the project's engineering work."

Thank you po!

Not sure how to share that with the CO.

In my opinion and based sa testimonies po na narinig ko before, baka nakulangan ng engineering calculation or some technicalities si CO. In my CDR, I put pictures po ng mga equipment na kasama sa mga project ko. That is to further prove na itong mga equipment yung ineexplain ko sa CDR ko. If you have drawings like diagram ng mga projects niyo, better po. Just make sure na i-cite niyo sa rightful owner yung mga drawings or diagram. For calculation naman, I put some basic calculation like volume flow rate, volume ng cylinder, etc. Basta you may explain your CDR in a simplest way pero may konting calculation and pictures/diagram/illustration para madaling maappreciate ni CO yung project and mademonstrate natin na engr talaga yung occupation natin. I hope makatulong po ito.

Hi fellow Engineers! Im a Civil Engineer for more than 7 years na. Experience ko is almost 3 years Project Engineer sa Pinas and 4 years as QAQC Engineer dito sa Singapore both same field sa Construction Management. Thanks.

Hi, sir. Fellow CE here. Civil Engineer is included in the PMSOL. Which gives us an edge on the application. Something you can consider po. Maganda rounds ng invitation ngayon for CE, sir based on the stats.

Settle things about migration application po, employability comes after. All the best on your application!

    Hello po,

Ask ko lang sana if merong same situation samin. Yung E Skills Assessment po kasi ng husband ko is past 3 years na. Need na daw po sya I renew. Nabasa din po namin na assessment outcome is valid indefinitely kaso po dapat daw po talaga renew pa din if past 3 years na.

The assessment outcome is valid indefinitely for Engineers Australia. However, the Department of Immigration and Border Protection(DIBP) mandates that the assessment result will be correct only for three years. At the date of the migration application, the assessment outcome should be no more than three years old.

Meron po ba kayong idea how much it will cost and kung pano po sya gawin? Thank you po sa mga sasagot.

    Hello po. Ask ko lang.
I’ll apply under subclass 189 as Telecommunications Engineer. Makapag contribute ba ung partner ko sakin ng points if magpa assess sya under Architectural draftsperson (312111)?
Hoping may makapag bigay ng guidance.
    Salamat.

And ang alam ko need mo muna bayaran ng buo yung application (aroudn 1.3k aud ata with rsea) then irerefund nila yung sobra later on.

Sorry noob question. Bago palang po ako nagreresearch about migrating and marami pa po akong need basahin/panoorin about dito.

Thank you in advance.

You can try providing a cover later to explain it.

Thanks Ms Rhea. Will do it.

I am aware na dapat as recent as possible yung reference letter, kaya I've tried requesting sa HR nung ex-company ko ng detailed COE. I even suggested kung pwedi i-update na lang yung date sa letter na meron ako then i-endorse nya, but ayaw talaga nila. Instead nagbigay sila ng copy ng old COE ko na ni-release nila before sakin, when I leaft the company, which is dated 2017 pa.

The 'recent as possible' does not apply. It only applies sa current employment.

For reference, galing sa Prepare your Migration Skills Assessment application July 2022 v1.0

Attach strong evidences that will answer those na nirerequire sa detailed COE. Like Payslips, SSS, others.

    Hope it helps po.

The above comment 👆 this all depends and it is subject to the assessor’s discretion. The most sensible question is - If the person who signed the letter is no longer there, how will the assessor verify the information with that person? If they will have to call and ask for the referee, they will obviously won’t find that person….just food for thought.

Meaning po ba kung reachable pa din po sya sa contact infos na nasa old reference letter, pwedi ko pa din itry isubmit yung reference letter na yun? nag-reach out na ako sa ex-supervisor ko and same contact information pa din ang gamit nya.

ALL Reference Letter / COE: Ako lang gumawa, through research / existing JD / EA Guidelines, etc. I just asked them to sign it for me. Nakakakaba tong part na to guys. Haha. Kailangan ng konting reasoning. Baka makatulong yung mga ginawa ko. Hehe

Company 1: Ayaw pirmahan ng HR, pumunta ko sa General Manager, sinama ko pa tatay ko (dating Area Manager ng company) para chumika for me at maging smooth ang pag-sign. It pushed through! Haha. Even brought pasalubongs and treats sa acctg, HR and others para light yung mood ng pagpunta after years of separation sa company. Hehe.

Company 2: HR. Medyo madali to. Pero since, tinatamad sila gumawa ng new format, ako yung pinagawa nila. I have the company letter head naman, since same lang ang ginagamit sa mga official letter na ginagamit pang communicate sa GenCon, so G na. Hehe. In-insert ko lahat ng requirement ni EA and have them sign. They signed it electronically. No questions asked. Achieved!

Company 3: Current employment. It’s quite a challenge. Hehe. Chinese employer na ayaw malamangan. HAHA IYKWIM. So, iba atake ko this time. So, gumawa lang rin ako EA format. Have them sign, medyo ayaw ayaw pa. Kasi nga naman, unfamiliar and detailed talaga requirement ni EA and it’s very unusual sa common COE. After a few attempts. I got it. Haaay.

The things we do for our dreams! I believe gathering documents is tougher than preparing CDRs. Sa totoo lang! Pero after these, nakahinga na at sabak naman sa technical writing.

Thank you for this forum. Just got my Positive Assessment. I felt the need to share these with you, para makatulong rin sa iba na kailangan ng feed ng info. More power sa ating lahat. Graduate na me sa EA!

    (PROACTIVE) TIPS THAT MIGHT HELP
    1. Secure all scholastic / employment docs proactively.
    2. Since I’ve been eyeing AU college pa lang yata ako, before I even graduate,di ako lumabas ng university nang di ko nasesecure ko mga docs ko, or plan how and when to get yung mga docs na di agad narerelease. Like diploma, etc.
    3. AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE, umalis sa company in good faith, lalo na sa HR and managers. Hehe. And i-secure and BIR 2316 (every year) - nirerequest ko talaga ito annually. This is our right to have these docs, because let’s admit di naman nila kusang iissue yang mga docs.
Hehe.
Use psychology. Hehe.
    6. Another thing, 2 out 3 companies na mentioned above. Walang issue na official payslip. Since ang payslip ay wala namang authorized signature. Ako gumagawa neto EVERY TIME. Tapos minsan cash like sa Company 3. So walang makukuhang bank statement. I supported these with cash voucher (receipt like) na binibigay sa min tuwing narereceive salary. So, DIY Payslip + Cash Vouchers; scanned together = Proof of Payment na siya.
    7. Always check your contributions (SSS, Philhealth, HDMF) sa mga online portals. Monitor niyo kung nahuhulugan talaga. THIS IS A VERY STRONG EMPLOYMENT EVIDENCE. Since it’s government generated. Kaya EA trusts this docs.
    8. Pray!

Maraming salamat po sa mga insights niyo. Graduate na sa EA. <3

    Notes:

04-AUG: Submitted my MSA CDR application (fast track)
23-AUG: Received a positive outcome letter

No contact with assessor. Your mileage may vary hehe.
I did not expect my application will be this fast.

My occupation and work details are quoted below.
