Hello po, you will attend panel doctor during first medical (X-Rays and Blood test) for visa application kung saan cla po magsubmit sa medical officer sa AU. Most of the time, once na may makitang scar they (AU Medical Officer) will ask you to proceed series of test and repeat X-Ray to check if may something sa scar. Panel Clinic will endorse you sa DOT (Directly Obsreve Theraphy) which provides sputum, x-ray and medication kung kailangan.

Kung may records naman po kayo, you can bring it to panel doctors to see and check po during your first medical appointment. Hope it helps :-)

Hello, on my case, I did call the clinic then they will schedule the sputum test. Better call now para makakuha ka po ng maagang sched.

Hello po, in that case, you should have atleast clearance if medical report about that scar. Then, you can show it during medical exam for visa, once makita sa Xray ang scar, medical officer may request further test or information from you. You will refer by panel clinic sa accredited DOT clinic/hospital na mag conduct ng test. The doctor there will advise you what to do regarding your case.

Hello po, may nakita po akong comment dito sa thread in previous years pa na nakitaan ng findings sa xray and nirequire mag undergo ng sputum test and culture and repeat xray after 3 months, but dun sa repeat xray ay nakitaan ng improvement/regression from the previous xray so ang nirecommend ni SLEC ay another repeat xray after 3 months. Ask ko lang po sana kung merong recently na naging same ang case, ano po naging decision ng DIBP about that? Nagrepeat xray po ba ulit after 3 months as advised by SLEC or pinag fill out na lang kayo ng health undertaking? Thank you so much po.

Oo nga pala, ang higpit sa medicals particularly x-ray kaya if may balak in the future to migrate abroad, unti unti bawasan ang panigarilyo and vaping. It will have an impact sa xray and maraming questions. Saka idedeclare niyo pa dun sa health assessment kung ilang packs or sticks ang paninigarilyo kaya kailangan. Syempre kung nagsinungaling kayo doon, baka magkaroon ng impact sa application niyo in the future. Wala siyang problem if wala pang signs dun sa lungs niyo kung ano impact pero pag meron sila nakita, meron pang test na ipapagawa.

Thank you po. So most probably pala baka July na ako ma sched. Kanina lang po ako nag email sa kanila and waiting pa din sa schedule na ibibigay. Sobrang tagal pala talaga plus yung pag culture pa na aabutin ng almost two months.

oo nga po, let's just hope and pray na negative naman ang results ng sputum and culture para no need for medications na 🙏🏻

Based on my personal experience, it will still depend on the doctor whether or not to instruct you to do medications.

Medications does not mean you have TB, it's just to make sure that anything found in your chest x-ray does not progress into something else or progress at all.

May nakita ring infiltrates sa chest x-ray ni hubby ko pero cleared na kami ni baby. I called St Luke's po at napakalyo n ng schedule n binigay nila samin. July 20 - 22. So meaning September pa yung result 😭

May iba pa po b kyong alam na clinic na accredited to collect samples for sputum test dito sa pinas? NHS Makati po sabi hindi sila accredited eh for sputum testing. Salamat po ng marami

@s3g3n same situation, infiltrates din issue ni hubby sa xray, july 18-20 naman yung sched na nakuha namin. I'm afraid wala na other clinics, i checked ung mga accredited and they all said irerefer lang din nila back to st lukes. Si hubby mo ba nagkasakit prior medical? Yung hubby ko had coughing spells 2weeks prior medical and actually visited a pulmo and was given antibiotics. Akala namin since nag antibiotics na sya and di na sya umuubo e di sya magkakaissue sa xray. In hindsight, we should have been more proactive kasi grabe yung delays pala.

Yesss grabe yung allergy ni mister prior that kasi highly allergic sya sa dust eh my construction dito sa bahay. You r right preho tyo ng iniisip it must be because of that. Sobrang delay talaga ito ang nakakaloka naman kasi ay yung tagal ng schedule na instead n tumatakbo n ung culture isolation eh sa July pa magsisimula.

Tumwag n nga rin ako kung saan saan and SLEC verified that they are the sole facility accredited for sputum test.

May magiging issue po ba sa Visa application kapag may Mild Thoracic Scoliosis sa x-ray? May pinapagawa po bang additional test?

Eto ung medyo pa letter C ung upper spinal cord. Pero no symptoms nmn. Kasi laging lumalabas sa x-ray ko kapag may annual health screening sa company. Pero wlang recommendation ang laging sinasabi mag stretching and exercise lng.

Yes just bring lang po what you have regarding your medical conditions, as per X-Ray they mostly focus related to TB findings, because this is a high risk disease that can spread.

@Izanagi hello po wala po na ask si CO regarding medical namen kc after 10 days namen na receive un result -No action required pero during my medical ng remarks lng un panel dun na may mild slip disc ako.. so far ok naman result. Bsta declare mo lng po lahat minsan pag minor di n nila ilalagay dun sa remarks... Alam ko po super strict cla sa tb at hiv mga blood infection..

Hello, just wanted to ask what happened to your medicals after? I recently had mine in St. Lukes BGC as well, and the discharge instruction to me is to call the next day as they need a second opinion on my xray results.
When i called, they confirmed that they already sent the results, and no other tests needed. They told me to just wait 5-10 working day for additional instructions (if any) from the "embassy."
