Hello po ask ko sana if merong naka secure ng house to rent while offshore? Hingi sana ng tips or airbnb tlaga ang best option?

Hi @Zion15 , I tried one of the recommendations here to look for Pinoys offering their place. It's cheaper, but you need to carefully check if the renter is legit. I found mine in a Pinoy FB group. On the other hand, Airbnb is more secure so it's also good to book this if you have the budget and location is convenient for you.

Already got my PDOS certificate thru email after the onsite seminar (Oct 25). Ngpa sched ako nung Oct 23 and got the Oct 25 slot.

    Reminders for PDOS:
CFO original documents, sticker and certificate will no longer be issued from 1/May/2023

CFO clients will only be required to present the E-certificate or digital certificate in print or digital form on the day of their international travel

There is no need to pay for courier fee effective May 1, 2023 and there is no need to pick up the original documents from CFO. Your E-certificate or digital certificate will be sufficient proof of registration with the CFO.

You can however, pick up your receipts for the Documentary Stamp Tax (DST) amounting to P30.00 from our CFO office in Manila. Pick up schedule is from Monday –Thursday from 10 am to 5pm, a week after your payment online has been made (Please take note, however that the Philippine Bureau of Immigration will only be requiring your digital certificate on the day of your international travel)

Thanks! Did you get your certificate same day, right after the seminar pa rin?

    Share lang po regarding sa pagkuha ng PDOS;

1.) Register exactly 7:00am (ready your browser 5 minutes before 7:00am) limited slot per day.

2.) Once done, CFO will email address of agent you will send your requirements.

3.) Once agent verified all docs, they will give you seminar schedule, as early as the same day.

4.) Link will be provided once seminar done thru email for completion of registration and payment ( No Gcash yet. One easiest way is QR PH pay thru online banking).

5.) Once payment is done, PDF copy of Certificate will email right away.

So within one day, possible po ang Certificate ay makuha depends how early you registered and how early your agent replied :-) hope it helps.

Thank you! Thanks din sa nagcontribute dun sa guide 🫶🏼

We tried requesting for remote inspections pero di pinansin ng agents yung request namin, so we proceeded to book physical inspections na lang as soon as we arrived. If may kakilala ka who can do inspections for you, possible na maka secure pa din depending on the agency.

    In my case:

September 7 - I sent my email of enrolment
October 18 - Only this time, I cared to check the status of my enrolment through phone. They gave me all the card details and advised that physical card will be delivered to the registered address in 1 to 3 weeks (I needed the details to apply for private health insurance)
October 27 - Card arrived via post

    Hope this helps :)

Hello. Or gusto pa din nila na in person iniinterview?

And kelan kayo nag start mag apply for jobs? For example 1 month before date ng flight nagpasa na kayo applications? Or sa australia na ba kayo talaga nagstart maghanap?

Just want an idea ano ung usual setup ng jobseeking process sa AU. Haha

There's no harm in trying. You can try online, but based on xp, mas preferred nila f2f interview.

Mabilis yung hiring process dito sa Oz, pag na-shortlist ka, i-bobook ka agad for interview or other pre-employment requirements. Halos in a span of a week or less may job offer na.

    Some tips:
Kung PR, meron mga agencies like jobsvictoria, etc na tumutulong na mahanapan ka ng work.

Yung mga company dito usually naghihire thru staffing agency like Hays, Randstad etc.

Sooo, build your network. Have someone who can vouch for you. Habang wala pa, work on your CV. And tailor it for EVERY job that you are applying for.

GUMAGAMIT SILA NG SOFTWARE. So pag yung CV mo is mababa ang match dun sa job post nila. Hope this helps.

Ako currently looking for work dito.

Super thank you sa info on staffing agencies.

Thanks for the info. Few questions pala about sa outward remittance sa BPI:
    1. Yun pagtransfer niyo from BPI to CommBank, online ba siya via the mobile app? Since you said it need muna maverify yun bank account.
    2. Since outward remittance, di naman need ng dollar account?
    3. If no dollar account needed, ok naman yun exchange rate?
    4. When did the outward remittance, bank account lang ang need? Nakakakaba kasi magtransfer agad ng malaki. Lagi pa naman ako may sample amount na transfer muna just to be sure na papasok talaga sa acct.

    TIA!

    Hello to answer your questions:

    2. No need for dollar account if Monday to Friday ka magtransact. You can transfer your peso savings account to your au bank account.
    3. Yes po mukhang ok naman yung rates. Parang nasa 37.xx ata yun nung kami nagtransfer. Though yung transfer fee nasa 3k php to 4k.
    4. Actually nagtry din po muna ako magtransfer nung una just to be sure. Hehe. Then after that nagtransfer na ko ng malaki and same lang ang fee. Kaya I suggest lakihan nyo na agad yung amt na itransfer. Makikita naman agad yung total na mababawas sa account nyo including the current xchange rate and transfer fees bago nyo iproceed yung transfer. 3 days bago pumasok yung money sa cmbank.

@Ozzy23 after Commbank account verification pa po ba kayo nagtransfer ng funds from BPI account?

Depende sa visa type na hawak mo. If 189/190 yes, need mo na mag PDOS kasi ang visa na hawak mo to australia ay for PR na.

FYI, for those looking for ways to transfer money from PH to AU, may facility si BPI na you can process it via web if you have BPI online banking. Make sure lang na your PH number can still receive OTP. I tried it earlier and nagreflect din agad sa AU account namin within the day.
