    Hi, quick question! ☺️

If we have a PR visa and mavivisit lang kami sa Melbourne for 4 days, anong ilalagay namin sa arrival card? Migrating or Temporary visit?

    Thank you in advance! 🙏🏻

FYI, for those looking for ways to transfer money from PH to AU, may facility si BPI na you can process it via web if you have BPI online banking. Make sure lang na your PH number can still receive OTP. I tried it earlier and nagreflect din agad sa AU account namin within the day.

Hi @whimpee, may I ask how much are the charges incurred for the transfer? Tia

It depends on how much you are sending, it will show it to you naman before you proceed. Pero overall sakin parang lumabas na 37+ php to aud yung naging equivalent.

Hi Everyone. I just received my PR Visa SB 189 this November. I immediately attended CFO/PDOS and got the digital certificate. During the seminar, they shared the list of requirements to present to PH immigration. Ok lang po paki verify for those who have made the BM post-September 2023 (new immigration guidelines)?

    1. Passport - valid more than 6 months
    2. Visa/Residence Card -> eVisa via VEVO
    3. CFO Document - Digital Certificate
      4. Airline Ticket - 1 way or round trip?
    4. etravel.gov.ph eTravel Departure card - Select "Emigrant"
    5. Travel Tax - TEZA
    6. Other Visa docs. Visa Grant Letter Australia.
    7. Airline Passenger Profile Declaration Form (airline) TBD, depends on the airline.
    8. BOI - Travel Declaration and acceptance of Terms and Risks Form - download from Buereau of Immigration
    9. Traze QR Code - traze.ph. Contact Tracing or Malasakit Helpdesk.
      11. Declaration of Funds. PH BSP Annex K Form. PH Entry and Exit. USD 10K threshold.
    10. COVID 19 Pre test requirement - no need
      13. Travel and Health Insurance
    11. Other Documents. Birth Cert, School Records, Education, Prof, Employment, Health, Financial, other forms of identification.
    12. Destination Country Online Declaration for arriving individuals. (IPC provided during flight)
    13. ICV BoQ Vaccination, DOH Cert, Vaccination Cards
    14. Photocopies of the above

    Questions:
    1. One-way po dapat yung plane ticket?
    2. Saan po kayo kumuha ng Travel Insurance? Sa AXA need po ng return flight, ano po ilalagay doon?
    3. Saan po kayo kumuha ng Health Insurance? Tinry ko sa AIA Australia need nila ng Medicard kaagad. If Medicard naman, need ng AU Bank Account AND date of arrival in Australia. Paano ko po maipapakita yung Health Insurance sa PH Immigration?
    4. Hiningan po ba kayo ng PH Immigration ng Currency Declaration Form PH BSP Annex K? Less than 10,000 USD po dadalhin ko.

Not exactly a question for you per se, but to anyone na rin siguro: need pa rin ng travel/health insurance even though PR status ka na sa Aus? In my experience sa traveling with temporary visas, I get insurance (try checking out Pacific Cross also) pero 'di at all hinihingi ng IO so just curious sa situation na 'to.

Hindi sya hiningi sa amin, but if the IO did, I would have told them na we will be covered under Medicare.

Hello po, as for my experience, I go straight away to their office and request for assistance for the enrollment. The staff will gladly assist you in filling the forms and you can ask them questions if you need further clarifications. Don't worry, they will provide the form.

Once completed, you can ask your medicare no.

    Answer:

    1. Since you're already PR, one way ticket is okay.
    2. No need travel insurance.
    3. Ipakita mo ang Printed CFO certificate (very important) and Visa Grant Document.
    4. Medicare, Aus Bank, you may process later once nandito kana Aus.

    Congrats!

For those who did their BM already, more or less how much AUD cash did you bring?

Since I heard almost cashless na sa Au, I was planning to bring $1500 - $2500 AUD (for a couple) upon arrival. The rest will be processed thru bank transfer.

Iniisip po namin cash lang for myki card, sim, and rental fee for at least a month.

    TIA for your advice.

We brought around 7k for a family of 5 pero dineposit din agad namin as soon as we opened a bank account. Usually for rent, via bank transfer ang payment.

Parang ok lang yang amount na yan for cash (though kami hindi nagdala at all, galing kami SG but I dont think it matters). Sabi nga ni @whimpee yung 1st payment sa rent (and bond - security deposit commonly satin yan) dito once you have secured a property is through bank na. yung samin ay BPAY (it's their bills payment system here).

Halos lahat you need to link to your mobile number. Dun kasi sa 100-pt ID system nila dito, that includes Proof of Balance. Proof that you have enough money to pay for your rental.

Dito kami naghanap ng bahay pala: https://www.tenantapp.com.au/ and https://www.realestate.com.au/
    Tandem sila. :)

Kung mag AirBnb kayo sa unang month nyo here, ask your host if they can allow you to receive mails. Yung debit card kasi ipapadala yun, so need upon account opening ng local address (which is normal naman lol).

Luckily, it took us just 2 wks. Sakto we received the good news that we secured the property on our 2nd week (nitong Monday lang 28 Nov). :D

Ang approach kasi namin, once may magustuhan register agad for viewing. Though, itong nakuha namin this is our first and only application that we did. Tapos approved agad.

Thanks @_sebodemacho how long po pala bago kayo nakasecure ng rental property?

Yung bank statement Au local bank not PH bank po? Or pwede rin PH bank?

Shared house muna inavail namin for almost 2 months stay. Planning to secure rental property pag may work na kami para mailapit namin sa kung saan work namin.

Yung Proof of Balance / Bank Statement mas ok kung AU bank na. Syempre, naturally you will be paying rent in AUD, so they would prefer the AU bank. :)

Tapos approved agad.

wow. congrats po! if you could share more tips on this please. If I may also ask, magkano rin po kuha ninyo sa unit, what type of unit/house at usually how many months po ang advance and bond na hinihingi? para mapaghandaan din po sana namin. :)

Common practice is 4 weeks bond plus 2 weeks advance.

    2. Visa/Residence Card -> eVisa via VEVO
    3. CFO Document - Digital Certificate
      4. Airline Ticket - 1 way or round trip?
    4. etravel.gov.ph eTravel Departure card - Select "Emigrant"
    5. Travel Tax - TEZA
    6. Other Visa docs. Visa Grant Letter Australia.
    7. Airline Passenger Profile Declaration Form (airline) TBD, depends on the airline.
    8. BOI - Travel Declaration and acceptance of Terms and Risks Form - download from Buereau of Immigration
    9. Traze QR Code - traze.ph. Contact Tracing or Malasakit Helpdesk.
      11. Declaration of Funds. PH BSP Annex K Form. PH Entry and Exit. USD 10K threshold.
    10. COVID 19 Pre test requirement - no need
      13. Travel and Health Insurance
    11. Other Documents. Birth Cert, School Records, Education, Prof, Employment, Health, Financial, other forms of identification.
    12. Destination Country Online Declaration for arriving individuals. (IPC provided during flight)
    13. ICV BoQ Vaccination, DOH Cert, Vaccination Cards
    14. Photocopies of the above

    Questions:
    1. One-way po dapat yung plane ticket?
    2. Saan po kayo kumuha ng Travel Insurance? Sa AXA need po ng return flight, ano po ilalagay doon?
    3. Saan po kayo kumuha ng Health Insurance? Tinry ko sa AIA Australia need nila ng Medicard kaagad. If Medicard naman, need ng AU Bank Account AND date of arrival in Australia. Paano ko po maipapakita yung Health Insurance sa PH Immigration?
    4. Hiningan po ba kayo ng PH Immigration ng Currency Declaration Form PH BSP Annex K? Less than 10,000 USD po dadalhin ko.

    Answer:

    1. Since you're already PR, one way ticket is okay.
    2. No need travel insurance.
    3. Ipakita mo ang Printed CFO certificate (very important) and Visa Grant Document.
    4. Medicare, Aus Bank, you may process later once nandito kana Aus.

    Congrats!

Pag dito na sa Aus na grant ang PR, do I still need CFO? Been here since Feb 2019 on an SV, uwi ako in 2 weeks so I wanna know if need to pabalik. Di sya hinanap nung umuwi ako last June on 491 e

Nag pa assess po ako sa Agency and per there initial assessment Ung school ko daw po ng Undergrad (FEU Diliman) Section 3 and ng MBA (NCBA QC) Section 2 po dito sa Pinas is nasa Section 3 and po need to obtain a degree related to your work experience in a Section 1 university to be automatically comparable to AQF Bachelor’s Degree and gain post-qualification experience. I am not a CPA but have experience with finance/investment banking/investment/Accounts Payable. May other way pa po ba to get 15 points sa education po, and to be eligible to apply for 189 visa?

Salamat.

Mabilis lang po ang pag release ng CFO, after seminar and once makapagbayad na, immediately they will email po ang certificate. Need to book your appointment thru online before 7am in the morning. You can do it anytime naman po and dont need to wait near your flight schedules. Hope it helps.

Hi Guys, for those who recently had their BM, anong airline kayo nagbook? I read before na Qantas would be better because of the baggage allowance pero would like to get your inputs. Wala kasi akong nakikita so far na puro Cebpac lang, mostly will have to transfer to another airline during the layovers. Thanks!
