Sorry sa question ulit, ...

ngsearch at chineck ko ung Booklet 6, pro d prin clear sa akin if kelangan mg IELTS ang spouse? May nbasa ako sa Booklet 6 na "Members of your family unit who are able to demonstrate functional English ability (eg. obtain an overall band score of 4.5 on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS)) do not have to pay 2nd instalment visa application charge"...

So pti spouse ba kelangan mag IELTS?

English Requirements for Secondary Applicant

You must provide one of the following:

a) your IELTS TRF Number to show you have a band score of at least four and a half (4.5) based on all four components. Important: If you are using an IELTS test to show functional English, it must be from a test sat no more than 12 months before making your application.

b) evidence that you have a degree, diploma or trade qualification requiring at least two years of full time study or training with all instruction conducted in English

c) evidence that you have completed at least one year of full time study in Australia towards a degree or diploma qualification with all instruction conducted in English

d) evidence that you have completed one of the following at an educational institution where all instruction was conducted in English:your primary education and at least three years of secondary education, or at least five years of secondary education.

so mostly, they would go for option B.. show your diploma, get a cert of english as medium of instruction from your college..

@Lhexleen nag rereview ka din? ako last year pa nag start ng review....
thenlately i Decided to enroll na lang sa review center for additional confidence na din sa exam... now im looking for better review center here in Manila, any idea?

Got a question.. Anung feedback nyo about having ielts recheck? Hubby got 8.5 and 8 in reading, listening and speaking but 6.5 in writing. Grabeh... !! He said he finshed naman lahat and sound ung essay nya.

Is it worth having it rechecked??

We just couldnt believe it from 8 and 8.5 then 6.5 ung writing...sayang eh.

@li_i_ren - do you need to have a score of 7 for each category? If you are claiming points from IELTS and have the the time to spare... i think 6 weeks ang remark TAT. Then theres nothing wrong from getting a remark.

@vinlex16 depende po sa preparation. pero i think madali lng makakuha ng 5.5.

@Strader, hello musta ka na? Eto di ko masagot tanong mo.... parang kulang yung conclusion ko. mahirap sabihin kung ok ba or hindi. kasi last time confident ako pero kinapos ako sa reading and writing. Masyado kasi subjective ang writing and speaking, di mo alam ang pwede nila ibigay na score unlike listening and reading. Sana makuha natin sa prayers. lapit na labas ng results, nakasulat sa receipt ko may 9 daw. 4 days na lang. kinakabahan talaga ako.

Curious lang po sa may mga softcopy ng IELTS pano kayo nagrereview dun? Bali yun copy binabasa nyo sa laptop nyo then yun sagot nilalagay nyo sa MS Word or sinusulat nyo using paper and pen? Naisip ko lang kasi parang ang hirap magreview sa laptop since ang actual exam e may booklet na ibibigay then yun sagot is ilalagay using paper and pen. Any tips?

@eischied_21 sa aking opinyon, it's ok to review on your laptop, but at least a week bago ka mag take ng exam i print mo ang questions and answer sheets (at if you are taking a real exam) para di ka manibago pag nasa examination room ka na. Good Luck.

Lapit na pala. May 13 sa amin.. sana nga pero hindi ako confident sa exam ko grabe experience ko.. nawala din ang focus ko sa listening..nawalan na ako ng gana sa reading.

@eischied, PDFMaster App for Ipad gamit ko for reading practise. maganda kasi you can annotate/highlight phrases from paragraphs as well as input answers via text box next to the questions. i use Cloudreader, naman for loading the same pdf opened to the answer pages para madali magcheck ng sagot by switching between apps rather than flipping in between numerous pages. i can utilize my 40-hr morning bus journeys to complete 2 reading test a day. for listening and writing naman kailangan talaga isulat ang sagot kaya i do it manually. i think hand-eye-ear coordination is important. kailangan magpractice sumulat ng mabilis dahil minsan di pa tapos isulat unang sagot biglang sasabihin na ang susunod. minsan sinusubukan ko sumulat ng di nakatingin sa papel para mas focused on waiting for the next answer, need more practice though. sanayin na rin gumamit ng 2B mongol pencil

. btw i'm scheduled to tke the exam 2wks from now, just sharing my non-expert advice.

tanong ko naman sa mga nakapagtake na, pwede ba magdala ng highlighter o mag annotate sa reading passages? may nabasa kasi ako na advise ng nakakuha ng band 9 na gumamit daw sya ng red pen for annotating.
