Hi we'll be leaving on monday night, i just want to ask when you reach the immigration officer upon arrival, will they ask pa evidence of funds? Or how much A$ should i have on hand? I have an atm kasi nandun yung funds namin. Btw, shoulder ng sister-in-law ko yung accomodation, food, board and lodging etc. Thanks in advance

As a rule of thumb, you declare kung anong pwede mo madala... Mahirap naman if you declare say $1M pero when they ask for proof, wala tayo maipakita.

Each state will have a guideline of how much money is ideally needed for a new migrant to survive the first few months in Australia even without work.

What if less than the ideal amount of funds yung madeclare mo?mareject po ba visa application mo?i just want to have an idea how much usually dinedeclare for proof of funds like Vic or nsw ss. though i know not all naman would require proof of funds talaga.

1. gaano katagal ang processing if I apply for a 3 months tourist visa?
2. kung Feb 2014 pa yung departure tapos plan mag stay dun hanggang May 2014, pwede na ba mag apply ng tourist visa sa December 2013? paano ba yung counting ng 3 months tourist visa. from visa grant ba yung counting or from arrival in Australia. halimbawa apply ng December tapos ma grant ng December, meaning ba na hanggang March 2014 lang validity ng visa eventhough Feb na dumating ng Australia?

Sorry, nasa 200k yung bank statement ko from bpi.

I believe you should have at least 100k per person for 1-2months stay. If in case you have insufficient funds, your sponsor from au will need to give the evidences.
