You said no credit cards right? Well why not a prepaid debit card -- it's for me the cheapest way to Money Transfer to Philippines. Look for a visa debit card, in particular, to make sure you have many available branches to deposit and withdraw the money you send.

Hi a new company has started in Angeles City called Ko-Kard its a free card backed by BDO that your family member can get with one ID only its free and can be used directly at any ATM. Its a debit card and cheaper rates than Western Union. Much more convenient than having go to a WU remittance office with IDs, because its a debit card it can be used for direct purchases wherever Mastercard is accepted. You can check it out at www.ko-kard.com or email me here [email protected]

Sa mga filipino stores, mura lang magpadala ng pera sa pinas. $8 lang ang charge nila for metro mla destination (door to door) or $10 sa bank account mu (manila).

    oh well.. wala lang.. hehe

dito sa singapore....fixed din ang remittance pero 4sgd lang ang fee for most of the remittance centers. minsan pag mataas ang ipapadala mo...pwede mo i-sweet talk yung nasa counter para bigyan ka ng "special rate" para mas mataas ang palitan na ibibgay syo compared dun sa advertised exchange rate for the day. meron din kayang ganito sa australia? hehe

Just tried it today --- sending money to Philippines through western union online at zero 0 bank charge. Its so efficient...next day clearing to any banks in the Philippines in any currency with no minimum amount! --- http://www.westernunion.com.au

I am just so glad to have found this, coz doing it over the counter charges $14 sayang diba?

...At least I am able to send the whole amount to target recipient (a nonprofit organization i used to work with in the Philippines)...Its just small amount to share to victims of typhoon Bopha or Pablo and make a difference this Christmas! To those interested, I hope its okey with you if I share the site http://inspirationaltravel.blogspot.com.au/p/appeal-by-philippines.html

Thank you. Have a meaningful Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year everyone!

I did. First transfer they gave me 50% off, so that's $3 (originally $6) transfer fee. Mabilis naman sila magpadala within hours andun na sa specified Philippine bank account.

when choosing remittance company. consider niyo rin yung exchange rate...hindi lang yung remittance fee. For example,

Forexworld.com.au charges $8 but exchange rate today is P40=$1
Pinoyfirst.com.au charges $6 and $7(for banks outside Manila) but exhange rate today is P39.85=$1

so kung malaki ang amount na e-transfer mo, you are better of with forexworld
Forexworld ginagamit ko kasi my bank is outside Manila so maliit lang difference sa remittance rate sa pinoyfirst. ang ginagawa ko para makatipid sa remittance fee ay once a month lang ako nagpapadala pero malaking amount instead na weekly or forthnight

Do you still send money to the Philippines? We offer the highest exchange rate than banks. It is still at $4 per send. Try sending money to the Philippines with us again. Thanks!
