Hi guys, may naka try na ba dito na nagpakuha ng fingerprint sa police station dito? I will be leaving end of july, plan ko sana mag iwan nalang ng authorization letter and fingerprint impression sa hubby ko para cya na lang mag apply ng PCC namin while nasa pinas ako. You think its possible? sabi kasi sa site ng singapore police force "For application by post from overseas, the applicant must submit a set of his/her fingerprint impressions taken by a qualified Fingerprint Officer at a Police Station or an authorized office of the country he/she is now residing.", so plan ko sa police station nila dito nalang ako magpakuha. what do you think guys?

another question, pwde kaya na hubby ko mag apply for me, with authorization letter? kasi dun sa site nila nakalagay na if overseas daw send lang yung requirements via post. since mag-aapply din naman hubby ko ng PCC i-include nalang nya yung sa akin.

I think you better call the office in cantonment; engage them in a conversation and tell them your dilemma... ang problem mo lang talaga dito is on the fingerprint impression eh, to be honest i don't think they will accept your plan above but who knows...

Just call them, number is on their website...

Yeah will do that. Sana lang talaga pwde authorization since they accept application via post naman. same procedure lang pero instead of mailing to them my requirements, including the bank draft for payment, husband ko nalang yung mag-aapply. dba pwde naman din ibang tao mag claim ng pcc as long as may authorization.

@jcs0703 Hello po, ask ko lang mag kano po ung inabot ng Medical nyo? kasi samin 2 kami, me and my husband plus the 2 kids 5 yrs old and 1 yr old.. Ang bata ba kailangan pa ng medical? Tska saan po kau ng pa medical at ano ung timeline ng medical?

It took us less than 15 mins lang; na late lang ako ng 1hr sa work and I just arranged for that para di na ako mag leave...

They will usually send the result sa DIAC however you can ask them na you will pick it up nalang - picking it up is more convenient as all you need to do is scan and email it to your CO. You can definitely save at least 1wk worth of waiting dito I believe.

Yes there is a payment for getting a police clearance...

15 mins to process your request; afterwards the police will process it on their end for 3wks I believe. They will give you a date as to when is the expected date on when the clearance will be ready or when will it be sent to DIAC.

@rachelle_gan2 I spent around 130sgd sa medical ko. Sa SATA AMK ako. There's a list of accredited clinics lang, so you might want to choose saan ka mas malapit. I am not sure though if lahat ba ng dependents mo dapat magpapa medical din. Wala kasi akong dependent sa application ko. Sowee, I can't answer.

Sabi ng SATA they will upload the result in 2wks time daw.

Kung medyo maselan po, wag sa AMK kasi Lalaki yung doctor yan po ang advice ng SATA before. Sa Bedok po babae and napakabait ;-)

Ako lang talaga nag process sa visa ko, hindi ako nag aagent coz I believe it will cost me much more.

I am still waiting for a CO pa nga, para atleast makapag process na ng police clearance dito kasi ma tagal2 din ang waiting time...

I did mine sa may Paragon (forgot the name...) - we did the medicals on a Saturday and by Wednesday uploaded na ang results daw... All in all mga 2 hours cguro including the waiting time.

maybe yan yung manual, yun bang sa paper ang fingerprints tapos yung paper na ang i.susubmit. May police station near sa amin sa khatib so mag-aask na rin ako. prepare ko na ang mga requirements before i leave.

eto yung site na tinignan ko --> http://www.spf.gov.sg/epc/cert_issued.htm pero bakit singaporean citizens lang ang na mention dito?

yes, i sent them email lang, kasi emergency hotline lang ang naka lagay sa site nila and yung email address for problems daw. so i sent them email nalang.

Pwede ban yung occupation is nasa SOL list at CSOL listing. Di ko alam kung tama ako pero yung internal auditor and external auditor nasa csol/sol for july 2013. Tama ba, means pwede mag ss 190 or independent 189 application? Thanks

@vhoythoy - i replied to you on the vetassess thread, but here it is:

- yung SOL Sched 1 is the same as CSOL Sched 1 din... meaning may option kayong mag-apply ng SS kung gusto nyo at kung may State na open for Sponsorship for that occupation.

- yung CSOL Sched 2 - yung ang required mag-apply ng SS..

then i looked at the new SOL and CSOL, inalis na nila yung sched 1 and sched 2,
pero if you look closely, yung SOL occupations, ay yun din ang nasa first few pages ng CSOL..
so the same explanation applies..

- yung SOL occupations is the same as occupations in the first few pages of the CSOL: meaning may option kayong mag-apply ng SS kung gusto nyo at kung may State na open for Sponsorship for that occupation.

- the rest of the CSOL occupations (na wala sa SOL) - yung ang required mag-apply ng SS..

Consolidated Sponsored Occupation List (CSOL) - You must nominate an occupation from the CSOL if you are nominated by a State or Territory Government,

@emmy - Please make sure you bring your passport, even older ones especially kung duon naka tatak ang first arrival mo sa SG. May form po na ifi-fill-up ( either download it from the SPF website or duon nalang when you go sa Cantonment Complex).

Just a walk-thru on the process for SG PCC:
1. Wait for the letter from the CO
2. Go to the Police Cantonment (near SGH) Outram Park Mrt ang nearest train station.
3. You need to give an ID to the security before ka maka pasok sa building. (I suggest you submit your office ID). If you submit your NRIC/Employment Pass, ipapakuha din sa iyo nung police na magpa process ng clearance mo, kasi they would need a copy. Although I am not sure if they can accept if you can bring a photocopy and submit that nalang.
4. Upon arriving at the office, Fill-in the form first then get a qeue ticket.
5. Then kapag tinawag ka na, the Police officer will need the letter from the CO, your passport, the form AND 2 passport photos (white background po).
6. Payment is $45 each (pay by cash, nets or credit card)
7. The officer will indicate the pick-up date...now processing time is 3 weeks!

BTW, morning lang po pwede mag apply ng SG-PCC.
