    Nakaramdam ako ng pagpapanic sa writing nung 10minutes na lang. Dko na tuloy nabilang ang words. I'm pretty sure na more than 250 words yung sa task 2 ko. At talagang siniguro ko na wala ako kinopyang words sa questions dahil sabi nga sa masterclass, for every word na kokopyahin mo sa tanong, minus word kaagad un sa sinulat mo. sa task 1 naman, dun ako di cgurado kung lagpas ba ng 150words.

    ako, tingin ko kung mataas na score ang makukuha ko sa listening, i can say tsamba lang yun. hindi talaga maganda audio quality ng idp. at sana nga mataas ang maging score ko...prayers na lang makaka-save sakin.

    Medyo kinapos ako ng oras sa writing nung July 27 - IDP.. nalabuan din ako sa ilang portions nung conversation about the MOA (its an extinct bird).. Still, I'm hoping for the best.. sana maka-tsamba.. goodluck satin lahat!

    If it would be helpful to any future takers, the writing task 2 was about your stand on some governments' decision to spend money on restoring old buildings instead of allocating budget on new houses or roads. To what extent do you disagree?

    For future takers I would suggest lang na sa writing task unahin pa din yung task 1. Nakakaubos ng kaalaman at good vocab yung task 2 kaya nauubusan tayo ng mailalaman sa task 1. parang get it over and done with ang drama kasi nung nagexam ako pakiramdam ko talaga labo labo yung task 2 ko self rating ko dun 6 lang parang naisalba lang talaga ako ng task 1 na inaassume ko na 9 sya kaya naka 7 pako.

    We all know na mas mabigat yung task 2 so, I think parang x2 sya compare sa task 1. eto yung naresearch ko na table na for me at least feeling ko tama naman sa assumption ko na task 1: 9 at task 2: 6 = 7.0 bandscore.

    hey guys. got my ielts result already.
    L-8.5
    R-7.5
    W.7.0
    S-6.5
    OBS: 7.5

    I'm so downhearted right now. kailangan ko kasi ng 7 in all tests. Filipino-Chinese yung nag interview sa akin. Languages yung tanong. I think okay nman yung sagot ko pero i admit i hesitated sometimes during the interview kasi chini change ko yung grammar ko. Mga twice. But overall, i feel na na answer ko nman yung mga tanong and i also gave a lot of examples. So what do you think, shall i try to remark my speaking score? Do i have a great chance to up my result to 7?

    I'm so conflicted. Self study lang kasi ako. I didn't enroll in a review center. 2 days before the exam lang tlaga ako nag self practice sa speaking with all the voice recording pa. tsk.

    @kitchtel, try remarking it if you think you don't deserve that score. You should indicate that you want to remark all the test component (L,R,W,S) so that if one component is successfully remark, you can get a refund. But remarking will take at least 8 weeks if I'm right. If you are in a hurry and is financially capable, have it remark and sched for a re-take.

    @kitchtel, ako nagpa-re-mark pero wala pa result ko. Kung ako may ganyang score, I would definitely consider the re-mark option. Sayang kasi, ang taas mo na sa ibang bands :) pwede mong I-indicate na S lang pare-remark mo para hindi mabago ang LRW mo. Sa case ko kasi, bukod sa gusto ko tumaas ng 7 sana ang W-S ko, iniisip ko rin na pagkakataon ito para ma-verify ko talaga ang totoong rating ko. Kung hindi talaga tataas, at least alam ko na ni-rate ako fairly.

    Pag-isipan mong mabuti. Mayroon ka lang 6 weeks to decide. After that window, hindi mo na pwede pa re-mark. Iyon nga lang matagal ang labas ng result (2 months). Kumuha na rin ako 2nd exam ko panigurado. Bahala na kung alin sa 2 ang magkaroon ng positive outcome. Medyo nghahabol kasi ako sa time at mababawasan na ako ng pts for my age by next year. Kung hindi ka naman nagmamadali na tulad ko, puwede mo hintayin outcome ng re-mark bago ka magretake ulit.

    As far as I know, they can only remark you by increasing your point and not lower it right? That is what I've read on past comment here. Correct me if I'm wrong.

    @RyanJay, ganoon ba? Maaaring mali ako. Wala kasing binanggit ang BC about hindi na bababa. Kung hindi na bababa, that's great :) Anyway, I decided to get my W-S be re-marked because iyon iyong mga subjective ang pagka-score. L-R are unlikely to change daw ksi may mga tamang sagot na talaga. Basta GO lang kung sa tingin mo may possibility na tumaas. Especially kung ang kulang mo lang ay 0.5 pt, it is worth trying :)

    @bachuchay same lang. Premium account lang yung may iphone. Yung basic po walang iphone app. Basic lang ako dati eh. :) pag mga nasa bus or train random youtube videos lang pinapanood ko about ielts.

    @RyanJay @chiko_au thanks for the reply. Is it a good move that i'll remark both of W and S? Mas confident kasi ako sa writing ko. hehe :) Hindi nman nila bababaan yung scores right? By the way, how much is the remark fee? I've read somewhere that it is around P4,000. Actually I don't have really a time deadline. However, I want to start early my registration since the whole process will take many months.

    Is it true that when you have a variance of 2 or more in your scores, chini check nila ulit? I'm just wondering kasi if they automatically check those scores with a big variance, surely the result of the remarking will be unchanged.

    Re-marking in SG costs 230SGD, so nasa 5-6k cguro..and so far narinig ko 0.5 increase palang ang pinakamalaking nabago na score..sa expatforum yata yun..

    @bachuchay kaya mo yan. Sa writing mo ung format sundan mo dn ung sa writefix.com chaka make sure naaddress mo yung mga questions at tama ang pagpparagraph mo. Sa speaking irecord mo sarili mo habang practice at pagkakausapin mo mga colleagues mo palagi. At syempre pray. Kayang kaya mo yan. Basahin mo dn ung band descriptors ng band 7 para malaman mo san ka ngkulang before :)

    @gmad06 nagpa remarking ka din ba? I've read in other forums na pwede mag increase yung score mo by one or more band. Mas madali yta pag writing ang ipapa remark mo. I called BC yesterday and inquired about the fee. It costs P3,999. A bit pricey but i think i'll gamble and try remarking first. I'm getting anxious just thinking of resitting the exam for the second time.

    mura pala dyan sa pinas nuh,di na ako nagparemark kasi medyu matagal yung results ng remarking 6-8 weeks,tapos halos parehos lng yung fee sa retake.most of all di ako confident sa essay ko,di ko kasi sineryoso yung writing module eh..yan tuloy nadelay ako..hehe

    matanong ko lng,magkano yung exam fee dyan sa atin?dito kasi worth 10k++

    @gmad06 P9000 lang dito. 8960 to be exact.hehe. Mas mahal pla dyan. Ako nga din hindi confident sa speaking ko pero baka ma stretch pa yung score ko at maging 7. That's why i.include ko nalang din pag pa remark yung ibang test para fortunately at may ma change, my payment will be refunded.

    @kitchtel, mura nga diyan sa Pinas ang re-marking. Dito sa Singapore ay S$ 185 (5k plus pesos) binayaran ko sa BC din. Tinanong ko nga pla sa BC recently, hindi nga daw bababa ang score :) Hoping din ako tumaas both or kahit isa sa W-S ko para ma refund yung amount.
