    Hi staycool! thanks for the well wishes. Actually, medyo taranta ang aming IED. May 11 2014 na!! e normally 1 year diba? pero, I guess dahil hindi kami masyado na challenge sa application (literally smooth sailing lahat, no glitches), eto ngayon ang unang hurdle. apurahin ang pagpunta ng AUS bago ma paso ang grant. :)

    06-01-11: Arrived Australia (457 visa dependent on my dad)
    28-05-12: Lodged RSMS 857 visa (seperate from my dad already)
    28-06-12: Done Medical check
    30-10-12: Submit AFP check
    07-11-12: Went home on a bridging visa B for holiday and wedding..:)
    12-01-13: CO allocated and nomination approved
    18-01-13: CO asked documents of my husband to be included on my application as migrating dependent..Thank u LORD!
    15-02-13: Husband completed all requirements (police check, medical, english requirements and joint statement)
    15-02-13: CO issued pre-grant letter instructing hubby to apply tourist visa to enter Australia in order our 857 visa to be granted.
    27-02-13: Hubby applied Subclass 676 tourist visa.
    06-03-13: Hubby's tourist visa approved.
    16-03-13: Hubby arrived Australia.
    18-03-13: Our RSMS 857 visa granted.. (nothing to ask more)

    Yun lang. Sadly, hindi ko sya naisama. Pero, gawan namin nang paraan after ma settle ako dun or apply nalang sya din separately.

    07-11-12: Went home on a bridging visa B for holiday and wedding..:)
    12-01-13: CO allocated and nomination approved
    18-01-13: CO asked documents of my husband to be included on my application as migrating dependent..Thank u LORD!
    15-02-13: Husband completed all requirements (police check, medical, english requirements and joint statement)
    15-02-13: CO issued pre-grant letter instructing hubby to apply tourist visa to enter Australia in order our 857 visa to be granted.
    27-02-13: Hubby applied Subclass 676 tourist visa.
    06-03-13: Hubby's tourist visa approved.
    16-03-13: Hubby arrived Australia.
    18-03-13: Our RSMS 857 visa granted.. (nothing to ask more)

    Hi everyone! Share ko lang yung realization namin ng partner ko kung bakit napaka aga ng IED namin (May 2014).

    With the help of my Migration Agent, tinulungan niya kami na ma realize na kaya siguro masyadong maaga (6 months) ang IED namin is because by Jan. 2014, expired na ang passport ni partner ko. E diba, 6 months prior to passport expiration, hindi ka na pwede mag travel?

    So baka kaya ganon ka aga ang IED namin. In fairness kay CO, naging considerate siya. :)

    So maybe tip na rin sa mga future applicants to make sure na there is ample time between you visa grant (or even the processing time) and the expiration date of your Philippine passports.

    hmm.better get that checked. Kasi sa pagkakaalam ko, minsan hindi pinapaalis ng Pilipinas if less than 6 months into expiration date. Marami na akong kakilalang luhaang bumalik sa mga bahay nila dahil hindi sila pinalusot ng immigration kahit may 6 months pa ang passports nila.

    Doesn't make sense if you ask me. Ano pang silbi ng expiration date kung 6 months before that hindi ka na makaalis. =/

    @mhej Im actually renewing my passport now. since oct pa naman ang IED namin and processing of passport here in sg will only take 8 working weeks, so ok pa. Another thing, atleast 6 months from expiration of passport ang hindi allowed mag travel, May pa mag si-six months from expiry ang sa akin. besides, passport renewal is not an issue naman din, you just have to inform DIAC or your CO, may mga kakilala na ako wala naman naging problema ang pag update ng passport details. So, I can either go before May without renewing my passport or renew my passport first before going to AU.
