Can anyone please share their experience with IDP regarding IELTS remarking? Id like to know kung malaki ba chance ng changes if ever.

    may form sila na ibibigay sayo. fill up mo sya ng details like bank account number etc at signature mo. tapos either mail mo sa kanila yung filled up document o scan mo at email. saken email so nagreply sila to acknowledge na natanggap nila ang email ko. Good luck sa yo. ok nman ang remarking. sabi nila basta Speaking and Writing mas malaki chance . Nagpa remark ako sa writing ko from 6.5 naging 7.0 din.

    sa IDP Makati kasi pinapapunta ako and pay 7k. Pero di pa dapat sa AU na ang remarking not being done locally?

    hi @burberry sa IDP makati din.. kaso lang di nabago yung speaking score ko. Writing lang from 6.5 to 7. Tapos speaking ko remained 6.5 :(

    @raiden14 ay ganun. Nagtake ka ba ule? Ung speaking examiner mo ba ay pinoy or foreigner? Ung sakn kasi michelle name nya, foreigner .bnigyan ako ng 7 pro dun dati sa BC pinay na panget, 6 lang bngay.

    Haha natawa ko dito.. I remember my examiner in BC, she's an old Pinay and she never smiled at me.. Minsan nagsmile din pero obviously na pilit.. I got 7.5 even i'm sure that I failed to answer her questions properly on the last part. Right after that, I really thought that I'm going to fail on my speaking. Haha lesson learned: don't judge the book by its cover. haha

    hi guys. just got my exam results from jan 18,
    2014 exam. i got the following scores -

    R: 8.0
    L: 7.5
    W: 6.0
    S: 7.0

    i am plannning to do a retake on march 2014 and at the same time apply for remarking on writing only. just want to have options for a worst case scenarion. do you think the scores may have any chance at all? my target is to have no score below 7.0.

    @cgm .. there are success stories na after remarking .. na reach nila yung desired score.. however, ikaw lang talaga ang makakapag assess ng chance mo.. if you think na enough naman yung sagot mo to have a score of 7.. then try mo ipa remark..

    ^^ I agree. May gut feel ka naman kahit paano after the exam on how you performed lalo na sa writing. So if money is not issue for you at feel mo tlaga, then go for it.

    dumating na result ng remarking ko today. thank god successful ung remark ko for speaking. From 6.5 to 7 na and narefund ko ung money ko. ^_^

    So, advice ko lang, if you really think na deserve nyo ung remark go ahead and file it. Mahirap kasi pinoy ang nagchecheck unlike pag niremark pinapadala pa sa oz.

    Sabihin mo lang for remark. Bring the copy of your results and id. Tapos 7k ung enquiry fee na marerefund pag may nagchange. Expect it mga 6-8 weeks :)

    @cavalier18 thanks. I just went sa IDP office this morning to claim my results, tapos direcho remarking na. and yeah I was told to call after 6-8 weeks to check on them. Paid 7k which is fully refundable pag may change sa score.

    whew..waiting game nanaman.

    Hello po, in case po na nagamit mo na ang 1st IELTS result sa skills assessment, state sponsorship, & skill select, PERO iyong IELTS remarking mo is mas mababa kaysa 1st results. So hindi po ito maka-affect as long as hindi mo naman ibigay sa kanila ang results ng 2nd take mo?
    oN the other hand, if mas mataas ang 2nd IELTS results mo (let's say at least 7 all), pero invited ka na for visa 190 & nakapaglodge na ng visa, mabago mo pa ba? Para instead of 190, mag-189 ka na?

    Either no change or higher mark lang ang pwedeng makuha sa remarking.

    If you retake IELTS but your scores are lower than the 1st results, can you just disregard the 2nd results & use your 1st results as you proceed with your application (skills assessment, EOI, etc)?
