    kung may existing record na kayo sa vetassess, tpos magpapa PTA kayo, mas madali na,
    lalo na kung di nyo na kaialngn magsubmit ng additinoal docs.. magbayad na lang kayo..

    yes okay lang nmn na di mag pa PTA for educ.. especially kung magclaim kayo ng pinaka mababa.. equivalent to AU diploma level 10 pts..

    im assuming BS degree holder ang applicant, definitely pwede yan mag claim ng 10pts without a PTA..

    I was disappointed when I passed my TOR to the Uni here in OZ. They only credited 10 units which is equivalent to 2 subjects. I graduated from Centro Escolar Uni Manila- BSNursing. I dunno if CEU is level 1 or 2.

    11/17/12: passed school application thru IDP * 12/4/12: received letter of offer (univ. of newcastle) * 12/12/12: credit application * 2/22/13: received new letter of offer * 2/26/13: paid deposit fee * 3/8/13: received COE and paid visa fee * 4/10/13: visa application thru IDP * 4/11/13: medical request from DIAC * 4/12/13: medical exam done * 4/19/13: SLEC uploaded my medicals * 4/12/13: medical exam done * 7/11/13: VISA GRANTED

    this is for points tested visa now under skill select/EOI should be 60pts to get an invitation to apply for visa..

    iba kasi ang points kung equivalent to AU Bachelor degree ang Phil degree mo (15pts), may mga PH degrees na AU diploma level lang ang equivalency (10pts)..

    Ok, noted. Salamat @lock_code2004. Iniisip ko if need ba ng employer ito. Parang I read somewhere kasi na isa sa suggestion is to get qualification for your non-Aus degree for job hunting etc.

    Ang tanong ko might be a little off topic. Sa EOI sagot ko sa qualifications ay Bachelor Degree(Other) na sa tingin ko ay nagkamali ako. Pero sa visa application, may option na Bachelor in Science, Technology or Engineering and than the Bachelor Degree(Other). Ano po ba ang pipiliin ko? Ang college course ko ay Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology.

    Possible bang madeny ang application ko kung sagot ko ay Bachelor in Science, Technology or Engineering?

    hindi requirement ang section ng schools...at wala naman nasusulat na dapat section 1 or 2 ang school mo..
    but, it will/might affect kung anung magiging result ng assessment mo sa educ qualification...

    @cvetu2004 - 2 parts ang assessments..

    1. skills assessment.. based sa CDR mo, kung mademonstrate mo na competent ka based sa job desc ng anzsco code..

    2. educ qualification assessment - eto based sa sevral factors, like section ng school, units earned, grades, license (in our case wala nmn PRC license ang IE)... so depende sa mga factors na yan, pwede maging equivalent to AU degree (which means you can claim 15pts sa EOI).. or ma-assessed ka lang as equivalent to AU diploma (10pts)..

    now yung work exp mo, will be part of the skills assessment (part 1), and of course your work exp for your EOI points...

    @KualaKangaroo regarding dun sa assessment ng CoE from AMA (ACS), nakuha ko lang ay comparable sa AQF diploma tapos they took 6 years from my working experience para ma-qualify sya sa Computer Network and Systems Engineer (ANZSCO Code: 263111), tinry ko din kumuha ng points test sa VETASSESS baka sakali dun i-assess sya as Bachelor's degree pero ganun din result...

    anyone has the same scenario?

    @floyd2418 - may standard criteria talaga ang education assessment.. so you wont get different results from different assessing agency..

    may mga applicants din dito who got the same result from the same school/course..

    @floyd2418 i dont think mababago ang result pag nagpa re-assess, Unless you provide additional documents na hndi nasubmit dati (ex PRC license)

    @amcasperforu hello po. tanong ko lang po if ung points po na binibigay ng DIBP ay based sa result ng assessment body? Kasi po naguguluhan ako sa outcome nung assessment ko. Grad po ako ng MIT BSECE tas ang niaplyan ko is ANZSCO 263111 (computer network and system...) kaso AQF bachelor with minor in computing ang assessment and ung ibang friend ko na ECE din pero ibang school nakakuha ng major in computing. nakita ko na under section 1 ang Mapua. salamat po sa reply

    @lock_code2004 hi sir, sa ACS assessment ko kasi have 2 types of result in BS degree. minor at major. in both cases po ba magagrant ng 15pts sa DIBP?
