Subclass 573 inquiries and grey areas

YeliboyYeliboy MelbournePosts: 12Member
Hi guys, I just want to clear off my mind. My first question is allowed ba na mag work unlimited ang dependent mo (secondary applicant w/ visa condition 8104) if nasa break ang primary applicant? This situation is under subclass 573 (Bachelor degree) ha. Secondly is allowed ba tayo mag work unlimited kapag may mga one week break (i.e. Mid-semester break scheduled by the school/institution). TIA!

medyo off ito sa topic nito pero this is also regarding 573, sa mga nakakausap namin dito sa may student visa (other than 573) it seems po na mas marami ang disadvantages ng 573 financially. For me po, medyo madali ang pag grant ng visa ko kasi nga po higher education tapos streamlined pa..less than 1 month lang inabot from the time magpasa ako ng application sa DIAC..pero pagdating namin dito sa OZ at nakausap namin mga pinoy na naka student visa din..narealize namin na parang sobrang laki ng ginastos namin compared sa mga nagaaral sa TAFE and kumukuha ng certificate or diploma course at hnd na daw kami pwedeng kumuha ng ibang visa na mas mababa sa 573. sa mga nakaalam po ng pagkakaiba ng 573 at ibang student visa at mga advantages at disadvantages nito, please enlighten me, meron po kasi iba nagsasabi mas Malaki ang chance maPR ng mga na sa Uni meron nMan same lang daw ang chances..kasi po pinanghihinaan na kami ng loob dito sa OZ kasi although may work na yung husband ko hnd p rin namin alam yung chances namin ma PR dito at isa pa 1 year lang yung visa namin.. salamat po

@agentKams for you to be eligible for SVP your school or uni must be a participating provider for SVP (please refer to the link below) and you must also at least take a bachelor's degree.

@praise Hi, ano course mo? Bakit 1 year lng? If part sa SOL yung profession mo ( http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/general-skilled-migration/skilled-occupation-list.htm ) and you have sufficient points to apply for skilled-independent visa, you can apply for PR po.

I don't know what's the pathway if hindi po part ng SOL. Kasi if 2 years din yung course mo, you can apply for a Post-study Work Visa ( http://www.immi.gov.au/Visas/Pages/485.aspx ) and stay in Oz for another 2 years where you and your dependent can work full time.

@praise ..hi..ang sa akin lang if you want to apply for permanent residency later on, then it would be good na kumuha kay ng course na 2 years either bachelors or masters...huwag kayo mapaghinaan ng loob kasi ang importante isipin nyo na andito na kayo...marami na kaming nagiging kaibigan na kagaya natin ang sitwasyon.....meron nga kami mga nakilala mag asawa rin sila at ang ginagawa nga nila para makamura ay 572 ang course nila...yon nga lang pay malapit na matapos ang visa nila then hanap na naman sila ng ibang visa na pwede sila....later on ang wish nila makahanap ng maka sponsor sa kanila....

@break parang makakamura nga pag 572 visa lang kasi hindi ko rin masyado magets fees ng TAFE.. pag diploma alone A$1514 lang pag diploma to degree program(under SVP) A$4200 sya..so di ko tuloy alam kung sa SVP ako na higher chances of getting approved and getting PR or sa 572 ako na mas mura pero kailangan ng proof of funds..

@danyan2001us If mag 572 visa po ako (coz it's cheaper) plan ko rin kumuha ng Degree in Acctg after that, kailangan ko pa ba kumuha ng panibagong visa?

This is true. It is easier to get a PR if you finished a bachelor or masters degree which is a 573 visa. It is expensive (more or less 23k per year) compared to TAFE courses (572 visa) which could cost you about 12k per year. Sa 572 visa you only have 3 months extension on your visa after graduation while 573 visa have at least 18months extension. Marami pa advantage ang 573 visa courses.

Bachelors Degree din and advise sa akin ng IDP.At first kasi Gusto kong magtake ng diploma lang kasi cheaper, but then IDP told na mas higher ang chances ng visa approval if 573 nga daw, lalo na sa akin im 33 years old.Sana maging ok din application ko.and pagkakalam ko if nacomplete mo na bachelors degree puwede ka yata magwork sa oz ng 2 years.

@hellocayety Yes. True. Mas higher ang chances pag 573. I know some pinoys here who just finished their bachelor & now applied for post study visa for 2 yrs. Their main focus is to find work since very competitive dito for nurses to work in a hospital. Pero compare to other student visa, 2 yrs time to find work is good. So, I prefer 573 because of this advantage. :)

Hello po, makijoin na lang po sa thread. Right now I'm on the process of applying for 573 Visa. I was told that after this you can apply for post study work visa (2 years) which entitles you to work in Australia. Ang medyo uncertain po ako is after ng 2 years post study work visa what will happen kung wala kang makuhang sponsor or hindi ka makaapply ng PR. :(
