Where to begin? *help :|

Hi. I'm quite new here. Actually a friend of mine referred me this site, If ever I'll be needing help/guide on how .to go about the process of everything---visa application to flying to australia. And I'm really lost and not sure where to start.

My aunt lives in australia however she's not familiar with the process of the application. she suggested that I should try to apply for the skilled- independent. Where in there will be a point system?! so i try to look for the category in the australian immigration and found out that one of the requirements is that i should nominate an occupation that is in the SOL. I've been with the sales industry for 4 yrs now. yet as i browse through the SOL i did not find any Sales related occupation that is qualified there.

So my question is, is it still possible for me to apply for the skilled independent visa?

it will be so much of a relief if anyone can enlighten me. thank you

Hello po mga kabayan.. same here.. gusto ko po sanang mag work sa Australia kasu waLa pa ako masyadong idea kung pano ako makakarating doon.. may mga nababasa po ako dito kasu hinde ko aLam kung ano ba ung dapat kong kunin na visa..

ano po ba ung tamang visa na pwede kong kunin para makapunta doon at doon naLang ako maghanap ng work.. posibLe po ba un? ung Skilled-Independent po ba un? meron naman akong konting ipon para sa mga processing..

24 years oLd na po ako.. graduate ng BS ComSci..
2 years employee dito sa pinas as Programmer and 2 years naman abroad (KSA) as IT Support ng DELL and Lenovo computers.

@kts81687 - if your occupation is not in SOL or CSOL... then you wont be able to apply for "skilled" migrant visa..

yung iba nag student visa.. this is very costly ...

@lock_code2004 magstart pa lang din po kasi ako..and nagpaassess ako sa isang agency kung pwede ako maqualify for an independent skilled visa. Ok naman daw if I will have a 7 band score sa IELTS. hindi ko na tinuloy yung sa agency costly kasi masyado, so ako I'm on my own sa pagpprocess. Pno po ba magpassess?pag certified true copy kailangan po ba ipanotary?and yung TOR and other requirements kelangan nakared ribbon?Like yung PRC Certificate?And yung COE rin kelangan po ba notarized?Thank you po.

@mayie - if you have read page 1 of the link i posted above... some of your questions will be answered...

then you have to check which assessment agency is for your nominated occupation..

@lock_code2004 ..sori po pero pwede makahingi ng favor?ayaw kasi akong bigyan ng coe ng previous employer ko kasi d nila alam kung anong ilalagay sa coe..binigyan ko sila ng description pero di nila maintindihan..pwede po makahingi ng sample ng coe na hinihingi pag nagpapaasses?kung hindi lang naman po msyadong nakakahiya..sensya na..

@mayie ang ginawa ko dyan ako gumawa nun ibang details ng coe tapos binigay ko sa employer para isama dun sa usual content ng coe which is un position, employment period etc printed with company letter head. Ang pinakakailangan lang naman e detailed job description/role mo as in kung ano un ginagawa mo talaga. Dun kasi iaassess kung pasok ka dun sa occupation na inaapplyan mo. Parang un nilalagay sa mga resume i-elaborate mo nga lang. Mahirap iasa sa company yan dahil di naman talaga nila ginagawa un ganyang details sa coe.
