@hard2handle sinabi ba sa diac kung they already reached their quota for family migration for this program year?

@hard2handle ok. Ang intindi ko dun, 190,000 visa ang iaaprove nila ang breakdown is "128,550 visas will go to skilled migrants and 60,885 visas will be for family migration. There will also 565 places for migration under special eligibility."

Problem po kasi sa case ko,i already declined 2 ship assignments since receiving allocation.

here goes my dilemma. if i decide to join a ship now, there's a big chance that i will miss ied,if ever we get our grant this year.

If i don't join a ship soon then i will be out of practice for a very long time with little chance of getting hired again + the issue of dwindling resources. Ok lang sana kung magka-grant agad. But then there's no gurantee that we'll get one this year or next.

Frustrating na & i really don't know which decision is wiser.

    Ang haba na,sorry guys!

@hard2handle medyo mahirap nga situation mo.

    ----
With my current salary dito sa singapore, my tax is equivalent to AUD4500 per year. With same amount of salary in Australia, tax is AUD18500 per year. 4 times higher.

pag nagpamedical and PCCs completed na, then your IED would be approximately one year from that..
so you can estimate kung kelan yun.. and plan accordingly whether to accept or not the your next assignment...

the complication is kung may quota nga ang visa nyo..

I dont want to sound pessimistic but i simply cant help it.
iniisip ko kung sumakay muna ako then kung dumating visa, wife ko nlng pumunta oz tapos bahala na if makasunod ako o not..kaso complicated ata lalo no? Haay...

@hard2handle did your CO categorically tell you that the quota for your visa subclass has been reached.

@StickyNote Unsure si CO kung mabigyan pa kami this year ng visa kasi once nareach na raw yung planning levels na na-set ng government e stop na nga daw pag grant. but, he did not give us any assurance whether we will receive the grant on the next program year. So, I really don't know where we stand right now. Last message from CO was 2-3weeks ago na siguro. but we did send follow-up emails to him just recently and as usual puro auto reply lang.

I really thought that medical and pcc were the ultimate requirements already. I believe they should have given us our slot the moment they asked for our medicals and pcc's. It is simply unfair that we still do not have our visas even after qualifying in all aspects of their requirement.

Right now I really don't know if it is still wise to once again wait for who knows how long or to just move on with our lives.

ano po palagay nyo mga kababayan?

I totally agree with you. There should have been slots that were reserved for you and your family when they asked for medicals and pcc's. After you were able to satisfy all the requirements, I think the granting of visas should have been automatic.

Stated in the grant letter is the need to have a full time job for 12 months. Any idea if it pertains to the primary applicantonly? What if the secondary gets hired on full term & not the primary?
Also, what do you mean by fulltime job?
