Financial Requirements - Subclass 574

Good day! I would like to enquire about student visa processing in Australia. Is it possible for me to apply for student visa without having the full amount of the financial requiements?

I'm currently processing my admission requirements for Masters by Research in UNSW. Also, I have read that Student Visa Subclass 574 belongs to Assessment Level 1 and I only have to declare that I have enough funds for my studies. Does it mean that I no longer need to show a bank statement during the visa application?

^yes, you don't have to attach any proof of financial capacity when you submit your application form. However, I've seen at least one SVP applicant here who was requested by the CO assigned to his/her case to provide some financial documents. quite rare, but it would be a good idea to have something handy just in case.

thank you so much @appledeuce for the info. it was just recently when I learned the opportunities in studying in Oz. I joined a contest which was sponsored by the Australian Government. I had the chance to visit UNSW last Dec and they offered me a scholarship for this year's intake. So I'm really eager to study there on Semester 2. Thanks again.

My scholarship will only cover the tuition fees for 1 Sem but I'm still grateful. They paid for everything during our 2 weeks study tour last Dec. And one more thing, may I also know the allowed number of work hours for Subclass 574 holders? Is it 20 hours every 2 weeks or unlimited work hours? Thanks.
