advance application for visa

hello po, tanung ko lang sana if pwede ako magapply for visa pero mga after 2 years ko talaga ipupursue ang pagpunta ko ng Australia? Gusto ko sana kumuha muna ng work experience kasi kakagraduate ko lang para if ever may work experience na rin ako. I really want to go there. Never pa rin kasi ako nakapag-apply for any visa.Thank you po in advance! I hope for your immediate response.

    @jessica17, unless absolutely in demand ang tinapos mo like engineering or courses related to blue collar jobs, mas mainam po sigurong kumuha muna kayo ng work experience rito.

    Ang visa kasi effective immediately hindi tulad ng passport na kahit hindi mo gamitin ng 2 taon, valid pa rin hehe :) Wala ka naman dapat ipagmadali...kakagraduate mo lang so mataas pa makukuha mong points sa age...galingan mo lang sa IELTS para sure ball ang visa mo kahit 2 or 3 years ka pa mag-apply nun :)

    marami namang trabahong naghihintay sa I.T. dun

    Sa kaso mo, baka mas mainam magskills assessment ka muna kung positive ang ibibigay sayo ng ACS. Anytime ka naman puwede kumuha ng IELTS kaso posibleng pag inuna mo yan tapos negative ka sa skills assessment (kasi wala ka pa work exp) edi nasayang lang binayad mo sa IELTS :)

    @jessica - here are the basic steps:
    1) IELTS - 2 years validity.. so wag magtake kung hindi ka pa sure na magaaply
    2) Skills Assessment - different assessment body for different groups (ex. IT - ACS Aus Computer Society, Engr- EA Engineers Australia)
    3) VIsa application - actual visa application sa DIAC

    Sep 24, 2011 - IELTS (L-8 R-8 W-8 S-7.5 : OBS-8)
    Jan 04, 2012 - EA application submitted | Feb 23, 2012 - EA assessment result (IE ANZSCO 233511)
    May 8, 2012 - Lodged GSM 175 online application | June 4, 2012 - CO Allocated
    June 22, 2012 - Medicals Finalized | Aug 30, 2012 - PCCs Completed (PH, UAE, USA)
    Sep 3, 2012 - Visa Granted (IED Jun 11, 2013) Thank You Lord!
    Oct 16-28, 2012 - Initial Entry Completed - Sydney
    July 28, 2013 - Final move to Perth
    Sep 9, 2013 - Started work with the same company i worked for in UAE/USA
    Oct 28, 2013 - Moved to another company.. ;)

    Okay, thanks so much. @lock_code2004 pero ano po ba ang advisable nyong number of years of experience if ever magaaply ako ng visa. Actually , balak ko kasi maghanap ng work dun, if ever hindi ako palarin na may mag employer sponsor sakin and mas madali ba kumuha ng student visa and magkakano kya ang aabutin sa pagaasikaso ng visa.     @jessica17 - if you are an IT, read ACS skills assessment, may criteria sila how many years of experience based sa degree (IT or non-IT related course)

    sa Points system nmn ng DIAC, isa ang work experience sa mga components
    3 yrs work experience = 5 pts, 5 yrs = 10pts, 8 yrs = 15pts

    dapat makakuha ka ng 65pts in total para maka apply ka ng visa
    other factors na may pts are; age, degree, ielts score.. etc..

    For student visa.. depende yan sa course mo.. check mo course na gusto mo and search for schools muna...

    I'd say around 5 years of relevant experience or more would be very favorable.
    Nilagyan ko ng 'relevant' sa statement kasi baka kung saan-saang industry ka mapadpad (i.e. retail, then IT, then call center, then finance in a span of 5 years) hindi makakatulong sa visa application mo yun hehehe

    you are most welcome @jessica17 - gudlak sa american idol.. heheh..

    if i may suggest, basahin mo ang points system (it will change in July 1,2012)
    gawa ka ng tabulation sa excel, ng different scenarios
    -anung points at certain age
    -ano ang points mo pag may relevant experience kana..
    -points depende sa IELTS score mo.
    -points for you education qualification
    -points if you want to apply State sponsorhip
    - other points you may want to claim..

    pag meron kana nito, you can visualize, anu kailangan mo, and at what year kana pwede mag apply... then you can start preparing in advance...(budget,documents,time,etc)...

    i did this several years ago.. i still have my excel file.. and it helped me a lot.. ;)

    It's one thing to get in Australia, it's another to get there and find a stable job :)
