Due to high levels of demand, the below three occupation groups will be subject to pro rata arrangements to ensure availability of invitations across the programme year:

> ICT Business and System Analysts
> Software and Applications Programmers
> Accountants

i think last financial year pa yan. but it means that they have set a specific quota per month. unlike other occupation na yearly quota ang open.

I read somewhere na next financial year nadaw ulit mag invite sa mga occupations na yan,not sure kasi medyo conflicting yung info sa website nila. Please go through below link.

Occupation ceiling

Occupation ceiling for ICT Business and Systems Analysts (ANZSCO 2611), Accountants (ANZSCO 2211) and Software and Applications Programmers (ANZSCO 2613) has been reached and no further invitations will be issued for this occupation for the Skilled – Independent (subclass 189) and Skilled – Regional provisional (subclass 489) until the next financial year.

@Electrical_Engr_CDR ah ok that's good! question naman- pwede ba mag claim ng partner points na 5 points sa 190 kung nasa CSOL ang skill ng partner? wala kasi sa SOL when I checked. Thanks

@Electrical_Engr_CDR yung sa hubby ko ang nasa SOL sya ang main applicant. Yung sakin ang nasa csol pero wala sa SOL, not sure if ganito ang case kung maka claim hubby ko ng 5 points for partner for my skill. Thanks

@iriscidiscent sino po ba ang primary applicant? kasi po baka yung sa hubby mo nasa CSOL din mas maganda sya na lang maging primary applicant kung gusto nyo mag claim ng points.

Yan Occupation ceiling message was last year pa. May mga na invite na BA sa ibang forum.

@Electrical_Engr_CDR Si hubby ang main applicant, his skill is in SOL... kaso we need extra 5 points so we are exploring on getting partner points. We will apply for visa 190. Kaso ang confusing part is the partner's skill (which is my skill) is not in SOL but it is there in CSOL.

So not sure kung pwede ba yun to qualify for partner points na 5points for visa 190.

Others who have the same experience po can share din salamat.

@iriscidiscent kung 190 ang aaplayan nyo dapat nasa csol yung skills ng hubby mo. ibig sabihin parehas kayo nasa csol diba. so pwede yung partner skills. make sure lang na nasa sponsored list ng state ang both skills nyo.

Sa parter skills kailagan pa ba pa assess sa assessing body? or declare mo lang po?

@Electrical_Engr_CDR yup nasa CSOL din ang occupation nya aside sa SOL yung sakin lang ang wala sa SOL pero nasa CSOL

Hello.. Im a newbie here..just want to ask your opinion as we are about to start our application for EOI..
First, ask ko lang po sana if san classified ang work namin ni hubby...
We are both technicians from electronics (semiconductor) company. And both graduate po kami ng electronics eng'g technology.
Si hubby, graduate na po now ng BSECE, and ako po is BSIE (Industrial Eng'g), pero wala pa po kami experience sa eng'g positions so we are still applying technicians.
Any insights po? Thanks!!!
