1. Employer applies to DIAC to be a sponsor (eto yata pinaka matagal na process). Hindi ko alam gaano katagal kasi approved sponsor na yung employer namin before ako na offeran ng job kasi marami na siya na sponsor dati.
2. Employer applies for nomination to DIAC. In this stage, ino-nominate yung husband mo as a potential employee and yung position niya. Dapat yung salary niya ay market salary rate at aabot sa TSMIT (sa ngayon ang TSMIT ay $49,330). Yung nomination ko na-approve in 2 weeks.
3. Pag approve na nomination ng husband mo. Apply na ng 457 visa. Dito yung mga documents na ng husband mo ang kelangan submit sa DIAC. Process could take 2 weeks to 12 weeks. Yung iba swerte 2 weeks lang approve na, yung akin 3 weeks na wala pang result.
Chances ng approval or rejection, DIAC lang nakakaalam. Usually yung sponsorship at nomination part ang critical.
As for the documents, I do not know what documents will be needed from your husband as proof of experience kasi usually certificate of employment ang binibigay pero sa case ng husband mo ay self-employed siya, right? Baka mas mabusisi ang DIAC sa requirements to prove yung work experience niya.
Mas mabuti kung may Migration agent kayo. Usually naman yung mga employers sila na kukuha ng agent para mag ayos ng papers.

Anyway, yung verification bihira nila tawagan yung previous employers pag 457 visa pero meron din iba na tinatawagan. Yung akin may previous employers ako na wala akong certificate of employment at hindi naman humingi yung case officer. Baka dahil 6 years na ako sa current employer ko at may employment cert ako sa current employer. Ang hinihingi lang naman sa application form ay employment history for the past 3 years (I think because this is enough experience to prove you can do the job) pero sa resume isulat lahat ng employment history lalo na kapag related sa job offer.

Basahin mo ulit yung employment contract na binigay sa iyo kung kasama ang health insurance sa package sa contract mo. kung kasama means sila ang magaapply sa iyo ng health insurance. Para makasigurado ka basahin mo ulit muna yung pinirmahan mo na contract. kung wala naman at malaki naman ang sahod mo ikaw ang magbabayad. pero usually talaga sagot ng employer yan kasama na sa package including minimum of two weeks free accommodation.

Ang declared residential address ko po kasi eh Singapore since I've been working here for the past 3 years and bihira lang ako umuwi.
sa form may nakalagay dun:
1. In the last 5 years, have you, or any other person included in this application, visited, or lived, outside PHILIPPINES for more than 3 consecutive months (other than Australia)? I answered Yes
Then sa next page ang question:
2. Give details of the visits to another country where the stay was for more than 3 consecutive months in the last 5 years (not including your usual country of residence or Australia).
So I am assuming na related to sa question 2, Singapore is my declared residential address, should I include it? I was in Philippines for the first 2 years of the last 5 years before coming to Singapore, should I declare it? If I declare Singapore, required ang From(dd/mm/yyyy) and To (dd/mm/yyyy) dates, and since I am currently living in Singapore, wala ako malagay na TO date, and the system doesn't allow it (should be something like From dd/mm/yyy - present). If I don't declare anything, I am afraid it will contradict with question #1.

ang nilagay ko sa to: is yung current date ko sa pag lodge ng application. nasa new zealand ako ngayon. pareho tayo ng problem. and place of residence ko is philippines and new zealand lang nilagay ko sa place lived outside pinas. hindi rin ako sure dun eh. pero i asked my employer about it. di rin cla nag bigay ng answer. ni lodge na nila straight away.
