    Sa totoo lang sobrang bumagal ngayon ang sistema ng application. Kami noon (last year), 4 weeks lang ang State Sponsorship may positive result na. Once na mag-lodge ng visa, in a week may case officer na. In less than a month visa grant.

    Pero konting tiis lang at tyaga. Patience is virtue ika nga. For the meantime, paghandaan nyo ang baon dito, ipon muna at konting tipid... kasi kapag na-visa granted kayo, siguradong matataranta kayo.

    one hella' skilled visa grantee. Happily ended up as an ICT gov't employee where SKILLS Australia is just one desk away!

    I was thinking na kaya matagal sila ngaun is maybe one of these 2 reasons. One is sobrang dami lang ng applicant or dahil dun sa olympic dam project na na-shelved off. I remember before I applied for SA SS, nandun pa ito sa website nila. Then it was cancelled last aug23.

    I think because of this olympic dam project, SA become very aggressive with SS. If you have noticed the skillselect report for sept1. 286 state nominees for SA, halos doble ng nominees from VIC & WA.

    But then till now naman, ung SNOL nila, di pa rin nagbabago. Let's just hope na sana madami lng applicant kaya matagal ang processing.

    Sana lang wala rin itong major impact sa SA ecomony kasi I too is heading there.

    @psychoboy , during the time na nag apply ako ang TAT pa nila is 8 weeks. and most applicants na kasama natin rito sa forum 5 weeks pa lang meron na silang result.

    kasi kung wala kang EOI, pano ka nila i nonominate for visa application....

    How do I apply for state nomination?
    From 1 July 2012 the state nomination process is as follows:

    1. Lodge an Expression of Interest (EOI) through SkillSelect; select “South Australia” only and the relevant visa subclass (190 or 489).

    2. Immediately after lodging your EOI, you should submit an online application for state nomination through the Immigration SA website. You must enter your EOI reference number into the state nomination application form.

    3. Your state nomination application is then processed by Immigration SA.

    4. If your application is approved you will be nominated by Immigration SA through the SkillSelect system.

    5. Approved applicants nominated by Immigration SA in SkillSelect are invited by DIAC to lodge a General Skilled Migration (GSM) visa application.

    Hi Guys, question lang sa mga nagpasa recently or yung mga nagpasa ng August. May na receive ba kayong acknowledgement email from SA? kung meron nagbago ba yung status ng application nyo online?

    Skill nominated :262113 Systems Administrator|Oct 12, 2011 -Submitted documents to ACS|Oct 28, 2011 -ACS result ( Comparable to an Australian Bachelor's Degree)|March 31, 2012- IELTS Exam|April 13, 2012 -IELTS Result ( R-7.5 L-7.5 W-6.5 S-7.5=OB=7.5), requested for remarking but no change|July 01, 2012- EOI submitted|Aug 02, 2012- Submitted SA SS ( visa 190)|Nov 06, 2012 - SA SS approval and 190 Invitation :) | Nov 08,2012- Lodged 190 visa|| Nov 23,2012- Visa Grant! Thank God, Almighty! :)

    Hi Issa, we submitted September 1 and yes we got an acknowledgent email. Pero yung status namin sa Skill Select, the same pa rin which is "Submitted".
    5 weeks and counting na kami, hoping wag umabot ng 12 weeks

    Nominated Occupation: Sales & Marketing Manager (AIM 131112- hubby) Skilled Australian Sponsored Visa(subclass 190)
    16/03/2012- lodged skill assessment (AIM); 08/05/2012- Skill Assessment- POSITIVE; 16/08/2012- IELTS 4 (L- 8 R-8 W- 7.0 S-7.5= OB-7.5); EOI Registration: 26/08/2012; SA SS Application: 29/08/2012; SA SS Approval: 29/11/2012; DIAC Invitation: 29/11/2012; Visa Lodgement: 27/12/2012; Immi Acknowledgement Application Received: 27/12/2012
    Case Officer Assigned: 01/02/2013 (GSM Team 33) Medicals Finalized: 24/02/2013 PCCs and Further Documents Sent: 06/03/2013 VISA GRANT: 13/03/2013 (All Glory and Honor to God!!!!)

    @baronann , 10 weeks na yung sa akin at everytime na check ko yung status online eh submitted lang nakalagay. akala ko kasi na mababago or nakalagay " received" ang status. Saka super tagal ako napadalan ng acknowledgement email almost 20 days din after kong na submit yung application online.

    Hi @issa, i assume mababago lang status kapag approved na yung SA SS Application then invite ka na to lodge visa application. Wow, 10 weeks... i guess true yung sabi from the other thread na sagad na nila till 12 weeks.
    At least malapit ka na, konting wait pa :)
