Just incase you are wondering why there are few people online (who's online sa side bar) , the program actually updates the list every minute, unlike ung ibang forum software where they update it every 24 hrs, kaya sa kanila mas mukhang maraming tao.

in addition there's an "invisible" option sa user setting.

just want to share on how to change your profile image... some people may be having difficulty navigating the site.

To change you profile pic, Login -> click on you name on the Menu bar (on top) -> you will be directed to another page -> then on the upper left you can see the profile navigation -> click on "Change My Picture" link.

Hi john, i noticed something weird on the post count, as you can see a user named dcliao posted twice but the count still says 0. Just something to check i guess.

oo nga mas maganda layout ng site and maaliwalas ang theme dito at dagdag mo pa na medyo advance mga features (like FB login at mga ajax effects) kesa kabila.

I was browsing the forum dun sa kabalia at may nadaanan ako na thread ni aolee dun. medyo old thread na nagiinvite siya mga members mag signup dito. hehehe medyo na-"tira" ata si aolee ng mga loyal members.

anyway good luck to our OZ dreams! starting to gather info pa lang ako, nabasa ko sa isang thread dito na magbabago nanaman pala ang ruling sa 2012. tsk tsk tsk, sana hindi ako abutan. bahala na.

@BubungFinn ah ganoon ba. Probably na mis-interpret nila ang intention ng pinoyau. As @aolee / @admin has declared, this site was not established to compete with the "existing" philippines.com.au, this site aims to help Pinoys to get information about AU Immigration Process "in addition" to the help that philippines.com.au is giving. The members who criticized that invitation would probably belong to some of the exception who chose to look on the negative side rather than analysing the benefits and purpose of the new site.

I myself is also posting some questions to philippines.com.au and they have answered my questions. Also, I am checking the site from time to time for some updates. But to simplify and as I am also getting the information I need from pinoyau, I prefer and chose to hang out on this site.

The only difference from the other site, since they have been established earlier than pinoyau, mas madami ng members ang experienced in terms of processing. Here in pinoyau, we try to share information that we learn as we go through the process and based on what the members have read, so far it's helping our fellow members.

As for your application, you may find the information from your assessing body and DIAC overwhelming at the beginning, just try to identify what information you really need and focus on that subject. This way, one information will not confuse another idea. I suggest to start to identify what VISA Type is applicable for you, check the eligibility criteria, and read external sites (assessing body for your occupation). Good luck!

@BubungFinn hehehe nahukay mo papala yun :-) actually kaya ko naginvite before... i don't know kung naabutan mo last year na the whole dec yata down ung site nila due to hacking ata. naisip ko magput up nito so users will also have an alternative place to hang out. but d pumasok sa isip ko na mang kompitensya. pinupush ko nga na magpunta rin ung iba sa kabila e. san ka ba nakakita ng ganun forum na pinupush sa ibang forum ung mga members to get more info . sakin lang the more info the better at makakatulong sa kababayan natin.

sakto naalala ko ung member na may name na Finn kapangalan mo ... sabi daw nya. ayaw nya mag join dito kasi daw humihingi ng credit card? nyaks! nakaktawa lang.

ung isa komikskolektor ata ung name sumagot pa na ... "website life, website life" daw e kesyo mamamatay dahil lilipat ang tao eventually kaya kumpetisyon pa rin. hehehe anyways kanya kanya lang talaga ng opinion

@onesilvertwo oo nga sobrang overwhelming nga ang mga info sa immi.gov.au, pag pasok mo palang ng site hindi mo maintindihan kung paano at san magsisimula magbasa.

hi guys, may bago tayong feature, Salary Search / Guide, nasa taas ung link. pls note na beta pa cya may mga javascript error sa page pero its not related or wont break your search. related cya sa ibang feature ng site so the salary search is working correctly. ung layout after searching ififix ko na lang later pag nagkaoras. enjoy!
