Hi All,
Sharing my experience getting my 482 visa. I work for an Australian firm here in the PH for the past 10 yrs and last year they wanted me to work at Sydney HQ. Actually kinabahan ako kasi 1 yr of college lang po naabot ko. I told the CEO that I might have a hard time getting 482 visa but she said, I'll handle the documentation.
After nomination last Nov 2018, yung application ko lodged Jan 15, 2019. They asked for Medical last Feb 15 po. Then March 11, na-receive naming apat (me, wife, 2 kids) yung 4 yr visa po namin. All this done online without any assistance from agent, diy.
Medyo nasurprise nga po ako kasi, ang mga sinubmit ko lang po is Authenticated Birth Cert, Marriage Cert, Passport,NBI and then my CEO added a document describing my work here in PH and why I was needed in Sydney. Wala po akong ginawang English (IELTS) exam or certification regarding my work/experience from any affiliated agency in AU. Pero na-APPROVE!
I hope this give hope to others! BTW, nasa IT industry po ako.
@max2019 ibig lng po savhin nun is u r blessed kbyan. Congrats po

Things seems easy if you have employer sponsor, because in Australia law those who has working visa AKA temporary residence (visa 482, 457 etc) are responsible by their sponsored employer at all. Meaning the states, the country Australia does not provide certain privilege and rights for those Temp Res compre to Permanent Res who has most likely the same rights with Citizen, but who cares diba? Aussie is still greener than PH.
@GeraldineValeriano I presume by this time approved na po ang visa ng dependents mo. Last year, it took less than 2 weeks after submission of medicals for my dependents.

Hi @cucci just incase alam nyo po. Im already in QLD on a TSS visa (just started on April 1) and although my husband was included on the TSS nominaton, hindi ko cya sinali sa application para maka save kami kasi at that time, we have an ITA for QLD 190 as well. So last march 15, nag submit na kami ng 190 application kasama yung husband ko this time. Now, it might take 9-11 mos raw for the grant. Instead of appying for TSS subsequent entry, may alam ka bang ibang way? Hes planning to join me here in QLD permanently end of sept 2019 pa but incase hindi pa approve yung 190 that time, baka pwede brdging visa? Im not sure eh.. salamat ahead sa advice..

April 2019 - Started work in QLD via TSS (482) VISA

@LovellaEllen Wow! Congrats!!! Good to hear that. Understandably medyo mapapamahal talaga sa visa expenses kung mag-subsequent considering na you have an ITA na. Parehas lang kasi more or less ang visa fees for PR and TSS. Ok lang kung sasagarin ang TSS timeframe before applying for PR kaso sayang din ang time at considering na immigration laws change almost every year, the earlier maging PR the better.
From the looks of it, you can have 2 options for him to be able to join you by that time. First is for the 190 visa grant to arrive by that time. The second would be for him to enter as visitor sometime August so that he can "request" for a bridging visa to allow him to stay after his visitor visa expires while waiting for the grant. Admittedly, I am not sure about this second option because normally bridging visas are given to those onshore and has applied to another substantial visa. In your husband's case, the application for a 190 visa came before applying for a visitor visa and wishes to extend. Maybe others can enlighten the matter.

Thanks @cucci Oo, nag try lang din kami last Jan mag submit ng EOI. To all those who are planning, yes you can apply both TSS and PR at the same time, just make sure TSS will be approved/finalised 1st.
Problem ko kasi is dependent lang din cya sa PR application so I'm not sure if brdiging VISA is even an option for him, I will need to research further pa. My other question pla is how to get a tourist visa that will allow him to stay 3 mos at a time?

I was able to find an employer in AU and we had contract signing na rin last week. They said they'll be filling TSS Medium visa for me. While waiting for the application to start, I'm doing research na rin sa mga docs/requirements that I need to provide and the posts here in our forum really help. Hope you can help me with my questions:
Our plan is for my wife and 3 kids to follow me in AU next year. Do I need to add them na sa application? May bayad na rin ba yung application nila?
I did not see in education (college diploma/transcript) docs in the requirement? Di na ba talaga need? If neede pa, kailangan ba naka-red ribbon?

Hope you can help me with my questions:
