Sharing my experience getting my 482 visa. I work for an Australian firm here in the PH for the past 10 yrs and last year they wanted me to work at Sydney HQ. Actually kinabahan ako kasi 1 yr of college lang po naabot ko. I told the CEO that I might have a hard time getting 482 visa but she said, I'll handle the documentation.
After nomination last Nov 2018, yung application ko lodged Jan 15, 2019. They asked for Medical last Feb 15 po. Then March 11, na-receive naming apat (me, wife, 2 kids) yung 4 yr visa po namin. All this done online without any assistance from agent, diy.
Medyo nasurprise nga po ako kasi, ang mga sinubmit ko lang po is Authenticated Birth Cert, Marriage Cert, Passport,NBI and then my CEO added a document describing my work here in PH and why I was needed in Sydney. Wala po akong ginawang English (IELTS) exam or certification regarding my work/experience from any affiliated agency in AU. Pero na-APPROVE!
I hope this give hope to others! BTW, nasa IT industry po ako.
regards,
D

Passport and grant letter lang ba yung requirements na ipapakita sa airport immigration? Just want to make sure so I can prepare the rest reqs before I leave.

Subsequent entrant naman po kayo, right? Dependent po kayo ng primary applicant so yung primary applicant lang ang required ng OEC.

From the looks of it, you can have 2 options for him to be able to join you by that time. First is for the 190 visa grant to arrive by that time. The second would be for him to enter as visitor sometime August so that he can "request" for a bridging visa to allow him to stay after his visitor visa expires while waiting for the grant. Admittedly, I am not sure about this second option because normally bridging visas are given to those onshore and has applied to another substantial visa. In your husband's case, the application for a 190 visa came before applying for a visitor visa and wishes to extend. Maybe others can enlighten the matter.

I was able to find an employer in AU and we had contract signing na rin last week. They said they'll be filling TSS Medium visa for me. While waiting for the application to start, I'm doing research na rin sa mga docs/requirements that I need to provide and the posts here in our forum really help. Hope you can help me with my questions:
