TSS 482 VISA

Hi all. Please share your experience regarding this visa. And if may dependents kayong kukunin under this visa (spouse/ de facto)

My english exam journey:

02.01.17 1st take L/R/S/W: 78/67/45/82 ; OF/P 48/44
02.20.17 72/66/54/86; 46/47
04.07.17 IELTS L/R/S/W 8/8/7/6.5
06.28.17 69/81/64/82; 64/56
07.03.17 78/71/61/83; 49/52

First take po, walang proper review and nadala lang sa advice ng batchmates na "MADALI" lang daw yung exam.

Second take was a mistake, kasi nagbook ako ng exam na nagpadala sa emotion, without proper review and guidance.

Third take, akala ko papasa na. Confident ako nung exam, no hesitations and pauses.

Fourth take was also a mistake, andun pa kasi yung momentum nung PTE. Then nagmadali ako papuntang Trident, tapos pagdating sa Trident, hingal at pagod ang lola mo, gutom pa! Kaya medyo namental block ako sa speaking. Daming pauses and dead air.

Planning to retake this coming November. Sana may slots pa na matira sakin. :(

    How does TSS work?

@OzyCebuano The basic idea is employer sponsors a visa for a specific work. More info here.

  • cuccicucci NSW

@lima80 For 457/482 visa holders who want to bring their dependents to Australia, as long as you have included their names when the employer lodged the sponsorship with DoHA but did not apply the visa to bring them with you immediately, you only need to apply for the 482 subsequent entrant visa for them. Processing was just 2 weeks after medicals last June.

Sino nag DIY ng TSS visa niya?
  • cuccicucci NSW
    Member
@aJeff What do you mean na DIY po? Direct hire ba? Please bear in mind na 2 step ang TSS visa application process:
    1. Employer files for sponsorship... at may mga conditions na dapat ma-comply to be an employer sponsor. Details here.
    2. Applicant files for visa using immi online.

While it's relatively simple on the Australian side ang Philippine side ang madugo. Dahil ito ay work visa, dadaan ka sa POEA/OWWA to have your contract verified and be issued OEC certificate. May mga discussions about this dito sa forum under the 457 visa which is the predecessor of the TSS 482.
