Age - 33–39 years - 25 points

English language ability - Proficient English: score of at least 7 on each of the four components of speaking, reading, listening and writing in an IELTS test, or B on each of the four components of an OET test - 10 points (my goal) or higher sana... God be the Glory!


Skilled employment - In skilled employment for at least eight and up to 10 years (of the past 10 years) - 15 points - eto po ang question ko. Do I need to submit an assessment from EA on top of the CDR (medyo naconfuse po me dito e). If Yes, and additional fee is needed to be paid?

Qualifications - At least a bachelor degree from an Australian educational institution or other degree of a recognised standard - a graduate of IE from Adamson University - 15 points (tama po ba yung points ko?) - EA pa rin ba ang mag assess nito?

Overall Points: 65 points (Sana po makapasok pa rin inspite of the new law that will be implemented sa July)

Timeline kasi namin is June: IELTS (+ ito... in God's glory)
4th week of July - submit EA assessment
Waiting period begins...

try mo ichk ung tasks ng computer network and systems engr if pasok sa ginagawa mo. This nominated occupation is both in sol and csol.

The standard assessment fee includes the skills assessment and the education qualification..
- the CDR will be used for the skills assessment itself. from the result, you will be able to tell kung positive ba ang assessment,
- from your provided diploma/tor, the result will also tell you what is the equivalent of your education.. pag sinabi nila na equivalent to AU bachelor degree, that is the only time na pwde ka mag claim ng 15pts..

The additional assessment fee is for assessment of your employment
- the result will tell you kung anung mga work experience mo ang related sa nominated occupation.. so kahit na may 10 yrs work exp kana, they are the only one who can tell which ones are related.. therefore that will be the basis of your EOI pts for work exp.
- this is a separate fee and you need to fill up an additional form..
- please check EA website..

you can get points sa English language mo po but you need to take the English exam with scores of at least:
IELTS 7 / OET B - to get 10 pts
IELTS 8 / OET A - to get 20 pts

@Xiaomau82 thanks bro, nung nabasa ko nga yan puro networking ung description and mukhang tagilid ako dun kasi network connectivity sa pc, laptop, lang ang alam ko. pasok lang ako sa ICT Support engineer. and naghanap naman ako sa visa 190 for states na website kaso walang ICT support engineer na open. ano pa kaya ang option ko?

@IslanderndCity na mean ko po yung 5 pts sa community language..kasi yung friend ko na nasa AU sabi nya automatic daw nagbibigay 5 pts pag sinilect mo tagalog as your main language... kulang daw sya kasi sa pts before pero na approve visa nya and she thinks automatic binigyan sya 5 pts dahil dito... nag try ako check kelangan daw pa accredit sa NAATI pero sabi nya yan din akala nya before pero nabigyan naman sya additional 5 pts..so not sure lng kung mi naka experience nyan dito or kung meron makapag confirm.

Now, you have to take an exam to claim the community language points..

yes correct.. pero kung isa lang nmn ang work or company mo for the past 10 yrs.. at un din ang nasa CDR mo.. you dont need to apply for the work exp assessment.. kasi un na din naman i-assess nila eh...

so i guess, my opinion lang naman.. eh kung may iba kang work exp na hindi kasali sa CDR then un ka dapat mag additional work exp assessment...

1. not sure about this.. pareho lang yan ng form 80.. so hindi kmi nag fill-up nyan..
2. no. hindi na kmi nag upload ng birth certificate kasi meron na nga passport.. but you can upload din naman.. wala naman kaso..

I have a question. Nung nag upload kayo ng documents sa immiaccount paano ginawa nyo sa mga multiple paged documents like employment reference, transcript, etc. Is it one file per page or one multiple page pdf file?

Boosting the economy through Australia's migration programme

Growth in business visa programmes will be prioritised and over $300 million will be saved through changes to Australia's 2014-15 migration programme, Minister for Immigration and Border Protection, the Hon Scott Morrison, said today.

'The Abbott Government is ensuring our migration programme matches the nation's economic and skills needs while also contributing to a cohesive and strong community,' Minister Morrison said.

'This Budget allocates almost 68 per cent of Australia's migration places to skilled migration, and reprioritises employer-sponsored visas.

'With the reprioritisation towards employer-sponsored visas, employers will be assisted in finding workers to fill vital positions where they have been unable to find local workers. This also protects Australian workers, who will have less direct competition from independent migrants who arrive without a guaranteed job.

'The 2014-15 migration program provides a total of 190 000 places including 128 550 for skilled migration, 60 885 places for family migration and 565 places for migration under the special eligibility stream.

'The family stream will see more places being allocated for partners and children which together increase by 335 places, in recognition of the strong social and economic benefits of close family reunion, while the number of places in the contributory parent category has also been increased by 500 places.

'The additional 4 000 places in the family stream which the previous government allocated to illegal maritime arrivals have been removed, resulting in a saving of around $267 million.

'This change will provide yet another disincentive for people considering the dangerous boat journey to Australia.

'Changes to the skilled and family stream intakes will provide approximately $35 million in savings,' Minister Mor
