    Source of below info: https://www.migration.sa.gov.au/state_migration_plan

Question: Will this affect visa grant processing sa mga visa 190 applicants? or ang impact lang nito ay sa mga naghintay pa na ma-invite?

    Planning levels 2013-14

Planning levels exist for all occupations. Immigration SA advises that the following occupations have reached their planning levels for the 2013-14 program year:
    12 May 2014 - 222311 - Financial Investment Adviser

    13 May 2014 - 149212 - Customer Service Manager

    21 May 2014 - 261112 - Systems Analyst

    21 May 2014 - 135112 - ICT Project Manager

    22 May 2014 - 233511 - Industrial Engineer

    22 May 2014 - 262111 - Database Administrator

    22 May 2014 - 233311 - Electrical Engineer
@Xiaomau82, do you mean even if I've lodged visa 190 last April 15, excluded na ako for visa grant review nila before July 1 dahil na-reach na ang planning level for Industrial Engineer last May 22?
I am not sure how they work, pero i know a few people na nag apply under sc 190 na waiting since March pa.
Oh! so sad. seems like mag-wait nalang muna ako for next planning year sa July 1.

Assessed Occupation: Industrial Engineer (IE 233511)
Achieved Goal: Australia PR (Permanent Resident). Thanks God!

    ...sharpening my core gifts now...
    ...working on new, better goals...

Bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. ~Luke 6:28~

Hello! Sorry, my question does not belong to this thread, but does anyone have a link to conversation/s relating to 'spouse application' within the Skilled Migration process?

The DIAC pdf doesn't say much, and I need to know information such as
    (1) the requirements that the spouse needs to secure
    (2) do I need to create a separate application for my spouse (eg visa subclass 820 and 801) or will my application for visa subclass 189 suffice? (kailangan ba AU citizen na yung primary applicant to apply for the spouse VISA? or is there a way na sabay kayong magm-migrate?)

I'd appreciate if anyone can provide the answers directly. Feel free to PM me. Thanks in advance!

Hi guys, I'm a new member here. I'm getting a bit confused as to where to start the application. I'm a licensed mechanical engineer here in Phils., 24 y/o, with 2 years engineering experience. Based on my occupation the assessing authority is Engineers Australia. Should I submit my Skills Assessment to them first before lodging my EOI application? Also, I don't know if I'm qualified as of the moment as I only have two years experience. Should I wait for my third year before starting my application? And how much will the total fees be? Appreciate it if I could receive a response from you guys. Thanks!

A skills assessment is required for lodging a valid visa application. you will need this once you get invited to apply, that is after you have submitted your EOI. first step is for you to get your skills assessed. so if you are Mechanical Engg graduate and working as a Mechanical engr most likely ang skills assessing body mo is Engineers Australia (IEA). a min. of 6 in each band for the ielts is required para makapag paassess ka with IEA. you can refer to this link page 16 (Section C) for the IEA CDR requirements :

@BMM03: Thanks for clarifying that out. I guess I have to wait for three years para m-meet ang requirement. Besides, I'll be turning 25 next year so plus 5 points din kung sakali. Hehehe

@altuser41: Thanks for the link! :)

@Xiaomau82: Thanks! Question, could I take IELTS now while waiting for my 3rd year in the company? Until when is the IELTS result valid? By the way how much would it cost me from skills assessment down to visa application?

So far ang nababasa ko is AUD20k per applicant, pero sa nababasa ko rin bihira ang hinahanapan ng proof of funds. usually dinedeclare lang if yes or no - kayang issupport ung pagsisimula sa australia using that amount. Malas pg hinanapan hehe.

@cacophony you can check the visa application fee through this link http://www.immi.gov.au/Visas/Pages/Pricing-Estimator.aspx depende kasi sia sa number of applicants, and age bracket ng dependants.
IEA CDR application fee as of today is A$620.

As for proofs of funds, ibang state they dont require proof of funds, usually declaration lang dapat may at least A$25,000 plus additional A$5000 for each dependent. pero sa Queensland, they require bank statement or any proof of financial capability and a min. of A$30,000 dapat plus $5000 per additional dependent.

    Hi Guys,

I have a questions regarding requirements. ACS will require me to have 6 years experience in my work because my course is not related to the work I am planning to have myself assessed for. However, for Victoria State Sponsorship, they only require 5 years of experience. Which one comes first? ACS assessment or SS assessment? Also, is skill assessment still mandatory for state sponsorship visa?

@joseflim, You need to check first if your nominated occupation is included in CSOL:
    http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/general-skilled-migration/pdf/csol.pdf

Sa pagkakaalam ko, isa sa mga requirements ang positive Skills Assessment before you could apply for State Sponsorship.

Ano po ba ang nominated occupation niyo?

    Hi Guys,

I have a questions regarding requirements. ACS will require me to have 6 years experience in my work because my course is not related to the work I am planning to have myself assessed for. However, for Victoria State Sponsorship, they only require 5 years of experience. Which one comes first? ACS assessment or SS assessment? Also, is skill assessment still mandatory for state sponsorship visa?
first step is to get your skills assessed, IELTS then State nomination. As for the skills assessment, Yes requirement sia sa state sponsorship. you can check this link for Victoria state nomination requirements http://www.liveinvictoria.vic.gov.au/visas-and-immigrating/skilled-visas/skilled-nominated-visa-subclass-190#MinimumRequirements

@bait0211 Yes, very good news! I-aim mo na lang sis na before July 2015 naka lodge na kayo. Yung July 2013-2014 kasi, major change yun increase ng Visa fee sa mga dependents ng principal applicant. Kaya siguro this year, wala sila major change. :-)

Tama po si @johnvangie, good news ito para sa mga magsusubmit pa lang. Which means na niretain nila ung current list of occupations. So yung mga rumours about aalisin ang accountant sa SOL e hindi po totoo. Hehe.

tanong ko lang po.. I'll be on my 3rd year in the company come June 2015. When could I start passing my skills assessment prior to my 3rd year in the company? Ok lang ba na one month advance or does it have to be on the day itself? I'm worried po kasi na baka abutan ako ng bagong rules come July 2015..

Hello, I would like to ask kung same process pa din ba ung pag apply ng migration? I was already assessed by ACS before (2006) and I passed, but wasn't able to lodge visa application kasi nagkaroon lang ng personal issues. Nways, now ba what is the first step? pa assess ba ulit ako sa ACS? kasi I already have my account in Skillselect (immi.gov.au) and feeling ko, parang kelangan ma fulfill ko muna ung ibang requirements, like IELTS and assessment before I can submit my EOI (Expression of Interest). Help me pls. I wanted to push thru now with the migration. Thanks!
