Important Information: How do I start my application?

@lock_code2004 Good afternoon admin! thank u so much for this, it's really really helpful. I'm just a newbie here. I would like to have your advice on what's the best application me and my wife should choose. Here are some of my details.

- been working in Singapore with Employment pass for more almost 3 years
- B.S. Information Technology grad with 9 years of IT Experience (IT helpdesk)
- been to Sydney, Australia last September for 1 week as tourist visa
- My relatives ( auntie,cousins, etc ) are living in Prestons, and they are willing to sponsor our place
- Same course and IT experience with wifey. Should we apply on different visa or can I make her as my dependent?
- Currently reviewing on IELTS

@justdoit316 - hindi po ako ang admin lol.. pa-bida lang ako..

- if you can find your occupation in SOL/CSOL, then you can proceed..
- kung IT helpdesk, i think the most relevant code is IT customer suppoert officer in CSOL, which will require state sponsorship
- seach for states na available pa ang occupation code na yan (like ACT)
- you can apply both for skills assessment and use it for additional points (partner's skills +5pts)
- i suggest, estimate nyo, who can get a higher EOI points (age, ielts, work exp), should be the primary applicant , and then the other one will be the dependent and of course you can add the partner's skills +5pts

Hi all, just a quick question. I've worked for 2 companies already:

- a water utilities company (1y,8mo)
- a distinguished fastfood chain (1y,7mo and counting)

I'm an Industrial Engineering graduate from what I assume is a section 1 school based from the comments here. The water utilities job was more of management work while the fastfood one focuses on process improvement (IE-related). My question is, would the experience in the water utilities company, NOT be counted towards the related work experience? I am asking so that I would have a general idea on when to start an application. Thank you very much and God bless to all!

if you can compare your job/tasks sa official definition ng IE,
they will assess based on your job description..

question, what is your job title sa 1st company?
btw, im an IE too..

@lock_code2004 My job title for the 1st company was Territory Manager. For the 2nd one, it's Restaurant Systems Specialist. Worry ko lang is that baka hindi ma-assess yung 1st job as related to IE.

not really IE job title.. but other specializations.. like quality, planning, supply chain, process improvement.. etc..

depende sa skills mo kung anung experience mo at kung anung kaya mong gawin...
im in manufacturing/quality.. goodluck..

1. www.immi.gov.au > skillselect > then navigate to one of the visa types and then click SOL or CSOL

2. you can get the ANZSCO code for each occupation in that list.. (something like ANZSCO 233511 for industrial engineer).. so make sure to browse the list because there might be several occupations related to your current skills/work experience..

3. then google that " ANZSCO 233511" and you will be able to see the official job description as per AU/NZ standard..

Anyone can help me out, I am a Registered Nurse with more than 5 years clinical experience and currently working here in Singapore. Now, been considering applying for Australia either an immigrant or a worker but my problem is where would my skills be assessed-- "APHRA or ANMAC" ? I have read a post in other forum, " If you want a sponsored visa, temporary.....then APHRA first.

Getting a skills assessment with ANMAC and then a PR skilled visa is the best option as it allows you to choose where you go, when you go and gives all the advantages of being PR.".

I hope you could help me clear things out.

Question guys, tapos na ako skills assessment. So ang paggawa ng EOI up to application of visa is online na right? So wala na CTC na ipapadala? Just scanned files of the originals right? Kase di ko alam kung mg papa CTC pa ako e. Punta kase ako Manila para isahan na lang ang lakad.

1) for EOI - walang docs na upload... fill up information alng
2) for SS or visa application - you can submit scanned colored copy or CTC, which ever you prefer..

akala ko tapos kana sa assessment.. normally kung anung documents ang ginamit mo sa assessment yun din docs gamitin mo for SS/Visa application...

why are you asking for COEs now?

A ganun. kase yung binigay ko sa AIMS is reference letter. So naka address sya sa AIMS and nung august pa sya dated. And yung ibibigay ko ngayon is terminal na kase mg re resign na ako sa work ko. So mgpapagawa talaga ako COE. Baka may ibang details pa na hanapin yung CO sa COE ko e.

As for me, we're planning to get married next year pa but we've been together for more than 8 years. I have a slight idea on the documentation (based on the info from DIAC) but I'm not that confident dun sa details that I currently have. Thanks in advance!

Question re: proof of employment. COE lang ba hahanapin ng DIAC? Or submit din pati payroll/ITR? Kase hindi na complete yung mga ITR ko the past 10 years. Nawala ko yung iba. Yung payroll naman pwede ako kumuha ng copy kaya lang marami yun kase 1 per month so 120 months in 10 years. Or pwede kahit 1 payroll copy every year?

you dont need all payslip for all 120months....
just get December, it will have the total salary for the year.
so in effect parang kapareho alng sya ng ITR..

visa application is different from job application..
either mag apply ka ng skilled visa by yourself.. punta sa AU..

or look for an employer who is willing to sponsor your visa..

usually carry over naman yung EOI mo and the new policies are enacted to start at the beginning of a financial year which will be July 1.
