@joestrummer, oo nga matagal talaga. kinabahan nga ako kasi maraming aberya ang nagyari nung nagpapasa ako ng documents. Hindi ko nakuha ang original na detailed CoE from my company overseas, yung scanned copy lang ang ibinigay sa akin. tapos nahirapan pa akong kontakin ang IDP na isend sa EA yung IELTS TR although nagsend sila ng email dati na isesend nila after two weeks, nung nagfofollow-up ako, hindi na nagrereply. Pero mukhang hindi ganun ka-strikto ang EA. Nung tinanong ko sila kung nareceive na nila yung original IELTS TRF ko, sabi nila hindi pa da, pero meron namang daw akong ip[inadalang scanned authenticated IELTS TRF kaya ok na daw. tapos yung CoE ko na hindi original, gumawa na lang ako ng Statutory Declaration, tanggap naman nila.

Anyway, taas ng IELTS score mo, try mong mag-appeal dun sa speaking exam sayang ang points, baka maging 8.0 pa yan.

mismo.. i first applied sa ACS (for business analyst pero failed), ayun napilitan sa EA (dahil IE naman talga ako).. so now im studying Vetassess for my sister.. and TRA for my brother..
haha.. konti na lang alam ko na lahat... wadapaks...

@lock_code2004, aba e sabihin niyo lang idol kung registered na kayo at marami ako mairerekomenda sa inyo. Hehe!

@Sungsung, idol nangyayari pala yung ganun na hindi naisesend yung ielts trf sa EA ano. Baka magpa-certify na din ako nung results ko at maisama sa ipapadala kay EA baka magkaaberya pa si British Council magpadala e.

Naku idol considered ko kasi na tsamba yung ielts ko kaya ayaw ko na iparemark. Parang asking too much na sa akin yun. Masaya na ako at kahit paano ay may 10pts na para dun.

Thanks sa mga advises niyo mga idol at hopefully ay makatapos din ako nito like you are now. God bless mga idol.

I have just submitted my papers to EA today...sana goodluck sa akin ang date ngayon: 12/12/12... Sana rin walang aberya dun sa papers ko. Question lang po sa mga idol dito, ano po ba ginamit nyo na courier? sa akin DHL, 3-4 days daw bago makarating sa AU.

@RichardQ, magpapadala naman daw ng sulat yung EA idol kung andun na yung papers niyo. Tapos e nakalagay din daw dun idol kung kelan nila natanggap yung documents niyo (Since siyempre hindi agad niyo makukuha yung letter nila), yun daw magiging simula ng pagbibilang natin. Idol may bakasyon pala ang EA ano, bawas bilang ba yun sa number of weeks?

Anyway idol congratulations at nakapagpasa na din kayo. Hopefully maging oks ang result. Ako baka end of Dec pa makapagpasa. Badtrip bakasyon pa nila.

Paano kaya yun kung bakasyon ko ipapadala? Ibig sabihin wala mag-aaccept nung mga papers ko? :-? :O

question naman po...mga ilang days po ba bago mareceive yung letter from EA na nareceive na nila yung documents...nung pinacheck ko sa courier nareceive na nila TRF ko last dec 5 tapos yung CDR ko last dec 10. Thanks

Hi! We still haven't received any confirmation letter from EA but per checking on the credit card we used, the amount has already been deducted. That was a good confirmation that the documents arrived. We mailed it thru LBC because it's the cheapest. They also have a tracking number which you can check online and per experience their 3-day lead time is accurate.

eventhough its xmas vacation. mas okay pa rin na isend nyo na para pagdating ng january... dyaaraaannn...

ung application ko po sinend ko after xmas. and nareceived/acknowledged nila ng Jan4..

As per statement, it was deducted four days after we mailed the documents.

By the way, I asked EA what will happen kung my application will arrive at their office during the close down period (Dec 24 to Jan 1) and here's their reply:
"if your application is received after this date and during the close down period, post will deliver it to us in the new year. Our office resumes work on the 2 January."

tracking was through the courier (online)... and then checked my credit card for the transaction.. after several days, I received the transaction receipt with the reference number thru post.

oh medyo mahaba ang nilakbay ng application ko.. kaya kahit sinend ko after xmas eh nakarating right after new year...
kaya pag galing sa pinas eh mas malapit sa AUS (2-3days lang siguro)... baka mas practical na isend na lang after ng holidays...

i'm sure i already answered this on that thread... some of my reasons
- work visa lang dito sa US.. slim chance of getting a residence visa
- Khit na maging PR ako dito, i won't be able to sponsor my siblings.. visit visa nga lang denied pa.. awatda!!

in short... i want to help my family... yun ang major consideration ko..
Australia is the best, fastest and most optimal way to to this based on my case..

hi guys, i am a civil engineer planning to apply for a state sponsorship in australia, andito ako sa UAE at may 3 years experience na dito sa gulf.. I have no idea how to start the process and also sa ibat ibang klase ng visa na available hindi ko din alam ang pinakmagandang option.. but it seems like pinakasafe ang state sponsorship specially sa scoring.. since 3 years pa lang ang job experience ko, hindi ako ganun kaconfident na makakapsa ako,... that's why i would like to ask for your help, lalo na sa mga experience na for the advice and information.. prefer location ko is perth,NSW,victoria.. thank you so much

@kathfrancisco08 - hi.. welcome to the forum... if you have not read the other threads, you should start with how the EOI/Skillselect process works.. and understand the points system..
from there you can decide which visa type to apply..

in a nutshell, here is the process for those who will nominate an engineering occupation:
1. IELTS
2. EA skills assessment (prepare your CDR, COE+detailed job description)
3. EOI submission
4. if you want SS, State Sponsorship application (with your EOI reference number)
5. Visa Invitation/Application

@lock_code2004 thank you so much sa info,..marami pla ako dapat iprepare,marami akong nabasa sa thread at marami akong hindi maintindihan na initials,i guess mapagdadaanan ko lahat yan while on process. follow up question po pla, malaki ba ang advantage kung gagamit ako ng agent or gagastos lang ako ng malaki

@kathfrancisco08 - agents can help.. especially kung medyo complicated ang case mo and if you don't have time to read and understand all the requirements..average cost of an agent is approx 4000aud. then you will have to pay visa processing fee (3000aud) and other expenses (approx 1000aud), if you have this budget then it's okay..

ang advantage ng mga agents, they know the rules, they can guide you..
but if you have the time to read and understand the processes and you have budget limitation (like us), madali naman maintindihan, at nakaraos naman kmi kahit papano..

@lock_code2004 again salamat po.. do you know where can i get CDR example.. 3 years lang kasi experience ko, so i need guideline para mamaximized ko yung information na ipeprepare ko.. i guessed mukang dun ako sasablay..may nabasa akong info na mejo mabusisi ang assessment.. plus i'm considering the fact na 2 and 1/2 years ko is archi/struc draftsman ako and maganda yung company.. while now, mag 1 year pa lang ako sa isang pioneering company as CE pero all around nmn ako... so i am weighing each of them kung san mas mataas yung chance na maipush ko yung application... It's really a good thing na nahanap ko tong site na to.. i think hindi na ko gagamit ng agent, babasahin ko at magtatanong na lang ako ng magtatanong... 4000Aud, sayang pa yun.. again salamat po

@lock_code2004 hi sir, i'm trying to schedule my IELTS Exam on end of January sa British Council IELTS online, nalilito lang ako kasi dalawa yung option dun, either academic or general training.. (i guessed sa general training ako, tama po ba?) another thing sa process po ng assessment nla.. ibibase lang ba nila lahat yung decision sa CDR na ibibigay mo, or, are they going to call you for interview, or khit yung company mo for verification, meron bang practical training something like that.. may nabsa na kasi akong ganun "general skilled assessment i think" im not sure though...,kasi po pag ganun bibigyan ko na ng signal yung mga reference na inilagay ko sa dati at ngayong company ko,nakafocus pa lang po kasi ako na makapasa sa first two stage, (IELTS at EA Assessment)... Thankyou po sa suporta

@lock_code2004 hello po nadedeuct na amount sa credit card ng friend ko after a day na mareceive ng EA documents ko...acceptable po kahit di own credit card gamitin...pero la pa din po ko ko narereceive na letter from EA

@davos_uno hi sir, pwede ko ba alamin kung ano ano yung mga documents na sinubmit mo for EA assessment.. kinokompleto ko na kasi yung documents ko while reviewing para sa IELTS.. para right after nakaprepare na.. wala po ako idea sa CDR kung meron po kayo example.. pwede nyo ba ko sir mapahiram... salamat

wala pong technical interview or exam.. but of course they will do some verification with your previous company..

i suggest you visit EA website and downloand the Skills Migration Booklet.
nandun po lahat ng requirements at pano gumawa ng CDR.

I have just checked the tracking numbers of the documents that I sent (including the IELTS result forwarded by IDP), according to DHL both docs have already reached/received at EA's address. Now the waiting game starts...i'm waiting when they will charge my Credit Card at yun ang hudyat that they have started the assessment process....sana successful yung assessment ko..
