Hi, I'm new here. I just finished doing the IELTS and now starting to collect materials for EA assessment. May mga inquiries lang ako, hope someone can enlighten me.

1.) It was stated that for getting the max points of 15 for the Overseas employment qualification, I need to have 8 years experience in the target skilled occupation: telecom engineering professional in the past 10 years. Since I have been in my current company for more than 10 years doing the things as per the JD, can I just provide 1 COE (for the current)? Or do I still need to provide the COE for my other companies that I have worked for?
2.) For the CPD, I assume that I can include my technical training here. Please correct me if my assumption is not correct.

in my opinion, ung online application is for new apps lang. unfortunately, nauna ka before sila mag open ng online system.

@chu_se true that! baka madelay pa lalo ang app mo since mag sisimula ka na naman ulet sa una. So better stick muna sa system na ginawa mo.

for me mam.. mas advantage yung sa online application kasi ma trackdown mo ung application mo.tapos mka save kaba sa payment ng pagddala thru a courier.
sayang nga lng at d ako umabot sa online application sa EA...but ayos lng then importanti andun na yung mga docs ko...

I agree with @Chu_se mas advisable magsubmit online atleast yung result is soft copy real time mo mareceive unlike pag by post or courier. Isa pang advantage e you have all the documents onhand (hard copy).

problema din notary dito ofc hours lang open kaya sasadyain mo tlaga. atleast bawas aalalahanin. :-)

Thank you for your email. Engineers Australia is still accepting all Migration Skills Assessment via post (hard-copy) up until the 30 November 2014. After the due cut-off date, all future applications must be done online via the MyPortal system. This means that your application will be accepted and processed

u can try and see whether possible i-merge ung application mo.

Hi po ask ko lang po if kasama ba sa MSA CDR report na na asses ng engineers of australia ang number of years na experience? Bale po nag pasa ako on-line last week tapos approve na ngayon ang industrial engineer ko pero wala pong kasamang years na experiece na granted sa akin. Basta po approve sa Industrial Emgineer. ganun lang po ba ang papel na ibinibigay ng Engineer's of Australia?

@wacks bro, hindi kasama yung work experience assessment sa standard CDR assessment ($635 fee)...

Kung gusto mo ipa-assess yung work exp, mag aapply ka ng "Relevant Skilled Employment Assessment"... additional $255 fee yun

@wacks hindi naman talaga "required" ng DIBP yung "Relevant Skilled Employment" assessment sa pag-assess ng Work Experience mo... Kapag na-submit mo na yung Visa Application, i-aassess din kasi ng DIBP yung mga work exp evidence na ipapakita mo and sila ang ang may final decision kung ilang years talaga ang masasabing "relevant".

pero yung mga assessing authorities, like EA, pwede silang magbigay ng "Opinion" kung yung work experiences mo are relevant and ilang years equivalent..

Now regarding sa tanong mo, dun magkakaroon ng impact yan sa EOI mo. Pwede ka mag-claim and mag-lodged ng EOI, for example 8 yrs (15 points), pero dahil hindi ka pa nagpa-assess sa EA, pwedeng yung inakala mong 8 yrs ay 7 yrs lang pala kung EA ang nag-assess.. so bawas points na.

Then kapag DIBP na nag-review nung work exp mo, may 2 possible outcome.. 1st is ma-assess ng DIBP na 8yrs talaga yung work exp as you are claiming, or 2nd.. parehas sila ng EA na 7yrs or less lang ang nakikita nilang relevant employment...

So basically, confidence level lang yung assurance ng EA assessment for skilled employment, nasa DIBP pa din ang final decision.. so you can risk na derecho EOI na, or have a certain level of confidence na tama ang claim mo sa work exp, dahil may EA assessment ka..

I know some people in this forum na hindi nagpa-assess ng Skilled Employment sa EA like @BoyPintados... pero na-grant naman sya. Review mo nalang mabuti yung case mo and decide..

wizardofOz, many thanks bro.. ... pero nagulat ako at ang bilis ng EA.. last Wednesday ko lang pinasa on-line at nag eexpect ako next year pa.... 12 years na rin ako work at almost same ng role ko - more on process. hopefully maging ok sa DIBP... mabilis ang on-line ng EA..

wizardofOz, many thanks bro.. ... pero nagulat ako at ang bilis ng EA.. last Wednesday ko lang pinasa on-line at nag eexpect ako next year pa.... 12 years na rin ako work at almost same ng role ko - more on process. hopefully maging ok sa DIBP... mabilis ang on-line ng EA..

Wow that’s good news para sa mga Engineers, mukang mabilis lang ang online application. I think you’re one of the first few na nagsubmit ng application on-line.

Sayang at hindi ko naabutan. Oct 7 pa na receive ng EA docs ko, and 5 weeks counting na. Naunahan pa ni @wacks
