subclass 489 to 189

hi pahelp naman po please,

i currently hold visa subclass 489 sponsored by western pero nahihirapan ako makahanap ng job so may plan is to apply for subclass 189 since abot na naman points ko, and my nagoffer sakin ng part time job sa forest lake post code 6109, hnd sya inclusive sa postcode ng regional area, okay lang po ba yun part time lang naman, and ang alam ng employer is perth is now considered regional. if tanggapin ko ung part time job na violation s current visa ko, makaka affect ba to sa application ko ng 189, i need muna din kc magipon to apply for 189 kc may isasama na ako dependent, hirap magisa dito

@jennyt - hi.. going by DIAC's rule, you should not work/live in the city if your visa is regional.

eto po ang pagkaka-intindi ko:
- totoo po na Perth is now considered "regional", but for RSMS and Relative Sponsorship visa..
- meaning pwede na magsponsor ang mga employer na nasa Perth thru RSMS- Regional Skilled Migration Scheme, ng mga NEW applications..
- and for Relative living in Perth, it is now considered regional and they can now sponsor relatives via 489 Relative sponsorship
- Pero dahil may visa na kayo at kung ang visa nyo po ag Visa 489 Regional Sponsored by WA, eh hindi po kayo pwde mag work/live in Perth..

the best thing is call DIAC.. tell them na kung wpede ka mag work part-time sa hindi regional while waiting for your visa 189... pero kung sinabi nila hindi, and you violate the conditions of your current visa, that can affect your 189 application..

@lock_code2004 - hi thank you very much, you are very helpful, i called diac and the immi officer told me hindi nga ako pwede magwork sa non regional area kahit part time..my other option is maghanap ng work sa ibang state pero regional area din,then if my job offer na apply for release s signed agreement for state sponsorship

@jennyt - yup.. ganyan din sinabi nung isang member dito dati.. they were able to transfer to another state (regional area also).
so continue looking for job muna sa current location nyo, and also for other regional areas..
