Anybody here who just recently got their Australian Citizenship?

Ano ano po yung required documentation? Pinakuha pa po ba kayo ng NBI, Education records etc?

Citizenship application form (nakalimutan ko yung number, pa google na lang), justice of peace attestation, recent passport size picture, tska fee payment. Yun lang.

Hindi na ako kumuha ng nbi kasi hindi naman tumagal yung stay ko sa pinas for more than 3 months during my 5 year term dito sa Aus.

Basta po ba naka 4 years ka na sa Aus (maski expired na yung PR) ay makakaapply ka pa din ng Citizenship?

Australian Citizenship Act 2007 Residence Requirements

To satisfy the residence requirements you must have:

*4 years lawful residence in Australia. This period must include 12 months as a permanent resident immediately before making an application for Australian citizenship
and
*absences from Australia of no more than 12 months in total in the 4 years prior to application, including not more than 90 days in the 12 months immediately prior to application.

Lawful residence means residence in Australia on a temporary or permanent visa.


pag expired na ang PR visa mo, just don't go out of Australia para ma-retain ang status mo. you can either apply for a Resident Return Visa (RRV) or apply for citizenship.

I see. Ito po kasi plan ko. September 2017 ang end ng PR ko. Mag-stay na kami for good sa Australia starting March 2014. So 3.5 years po kami as Permanent Resident.

Tapos antay pa kami ng mga 1 year pa before mag apply ng citizenship. OK po ba ang plan na ito?
