Hi everyone, happy new year. just wanted to ask ano yung affordable na private insurance na kinuha nyo for LHC? do i really need to get this private insurance para iwas medicare levy surcharge? thanks

If you are earning below 90k as a single person or 180k as a couple, di ka magbabayad ng MLS.

Pero every taxpayer need magbayad ng medicare levy.

Need mo lang kumuha ng hospital cover kung above sa ganyan amount ang sweldo mo.. if gusto mo lang maexempt kasi above ka sa income threshold, kuha ka lang ng basic hospital cover.. tipong $800 a year instead of paying the 1%/1.25%/1.5% of your salary which is the MLS. If kukuha ka ng hospital cover, dont forget to use my membership para sa referral fee ko for HIF lol

Hi, if you are earning more than the threshold $90k single / $180k couple family then you might consider getting one. LHC will be increasing your premium if you are taking out private insurance after 1 year na nagland ka as migrant and/or applied for medicare.
