I think the reason why it's so hard kasi you never really know where you stand. It's an indefinite wait even if a lot of experts will say this or that. But as cliche as it sounds, just live your life to the fullest haha. You just really have to see the good in where you are at this point. Grabe antagal ko nang nagaantay ng invite and looking back parang wala akong ginawa for the past year kung hindi mag-obssess over invitation rounds, cut off points etc. I feel na I wasted so much time being frustrated

Siguro while waiting, list down some things you want to do/achieve right now, kasi panibagong challenge nanaman when you get to AUS and you might never get to do those things when you get there. So ngayon ang new year's resolution ko for this FY 24-25 ay mageenjoy nalang ako ng maraming maraming authentic middle eastern food, susubukan mag travel sa nearby europe and africa kasi when the time comes na makarating ako sa australia malalayo na tong mga lugar na to and mahal na ang flights hahaha.

7 months in and I feel that it gets better. Nung first month sobra ang obsession with all the news. Pero at this point, suko na lang and tuloy sa life. And yes, preparing to leave PH, or whatever country you are currently in, and preparing to arrive and live in AU in terms of being job ready and having enough funds to support life onshore. May inip pa rin pero at least, you have something else to do aside from waiting hehehe

But yeah, just have to be aware of it and try not to over-analyse things para makabawas sa isipin.

Yes, saka sobrang daming variables and unknown sa visa processing ng DHA. Wala naman visibility masyado. Lahat speculation. Kaya walang universal way to predict kailan nila mauubos yung pila. And so, it's a waste of time to overthink, to fixate and to overanalyse the so-called trend.

Focus on the now. Focus on preparing for the move once the visa arrived. Focus on living life.

If may budget, try NAATI and even if you submit at 90 now, baka mag increase points din nyo over time as you become older (less than 32/33) and gain more relevant work experience.

If may partner, advisable na included or maybe create a separate EOI (? whichever works) dahil may states na priority ang may partner na Competent sa English or skilled partner regardless ang points, specifically VIC.

Actually, I have EOI as old as Dec2022 and even before that. Pero ung PTE ko nag-expire so I had to renew it and created a new EOI. Ito po ung timeline:

**VIC 190 nomination
23 Mar 2023 - Created new EOI
23 Mar 2023 - Submitted ROI at Live Melbourne (LIM) website
19 Apr 2023 - Received email from LIM that I was shortlisted/selected to apply for VIC state nomination
25 Apr 2023 - Submitted application for nomination with supporting docs at LIM website
28 Apr 2023 - Received 'VIC Nomination Approval' email from LIM
28 Apr 2023 - Received 'Invitation to Apply' email from SkillSelect
Jun 2023 - Lodged visa application

Wow ang bilis when you did your new EOI. But did you have the same points even with the expired ones? Hoping na ganyan din sakin once I create mine.

Did you purposely target VIC ba? or you also apply to other states? I want VIC din kasi since my current employer has an office there but I'm to shy to open up about my career/life plans to live in AUS.

Hindi ko naramdaman na 5months na pala akong waiting for my grant because I travelled a few times and tried things I really wanted to do. Oh well ramdam ng bulsa pala. But yun nga kasi you also have to live a life while waiting - magandang advice 'to eh. AU is life, pero yourself is lifer. 😂
Balanse lang between responsibility and fun, ipon and chill while waiting. Hindi mo pwede ideprive yung sarili mo from the joys life has to offer and dwell on the anxiety of waiting for the grant.

Notify them as soon as your circumstance change with the correct form (1022 yata).

Parang walang plano unahin yung March and April 2023 applications na binigyan halos lahat nila ng s56 last FY.

mga priority kasi sila 😢

meron ako nakita waiting since 2021!! naka tatlong s56 na. di naman daw complicated application.

Im sorry hindi ko pala nalagay na not priority occupations po yung mga grants. Meron din Dec 2023 non priority din na grant.

Sa akin analysis, malapit na yan bro hehehe. Looking at the grants today, they are clearing up the leftovers of March lodgement. Hopefully will go back to where they left off in April. Nasa April 5 na last few weeks if i remember correctly. April 9 lodgement here, abangers din. Roller coaster na ang emotions pero ika nga, walang no choice. Enjoy the life, kahit napapa isip mayat maya sa grants.
