Hello, pagkatapos mo kumuha ng Diploma, anong magiging visa mo nun? Hahanap ka na lang ng employer na magssponsor sayo?
Naisip ko lang ha, bakit hindi Master's in Architecture ang kunin mo, para may pathway to 190 visa agad in Tasmania or NT.

Sa ngayon na nagsisimula palang ako sa interest ko para mangibang bansa, iniexplore ko pa yung mga pwedeng setups. Iniisip ko kasi after ng Diploma, pwede ka na mag-apply as Architectural Technologist/Draftsman. Pwede na din magappy for PR as Architectural Draftsperson (kasi additional point yan sa calculation).
Worry ko lang kasi kapag direct ko itarget ang Visa 190, hindi angkop yung current job ko kasi nasa project management ako ngayon. Naisip ko na safer path kapag nag-aral muna.

Yes, additional 5 pts for 2 yrs Aus diploma and additional 5 pts kapag regional. As of now closed sa visa 189 yung Architectural Draftsperson kasi STSOL lang siya. So sa 190 mo lang magagamit ung additional points. Sa tingin ko pipili ka dapat ng school na located sa State na marami kang posibleng visa pathways. Last year, NSW lang ang may opening for this occupation.
Sa tingin ko lang ha, mejo tight ang PR options for Architectural Draftsperson dahil nga nasa STSOL lang sya. If you can pursue Architecture (which is on MLTSSL), I think it would be better. Let's see if other arki grads can also advise.
Pero kung ang goal mo lang is makapasok ng Australia and makahanap ng work (bahala na kung makakuha ng PR o hindi), edi ok lang siguro ung plano mo.

Ano po ang educational background nyo? archi grad po ba? If so, baka hindi na kailangan mag-aral ng Building Design since the drafting skills ay naituro na sa undergrad.
How many years of Project Management experience do you have? You can look into occupations (i.e. Construction Project Manager) that might be more related to your current job aside from architectural draftsperson, especially if you have a solid amount of work experience.
