SYDNEY OR BRISBANE?

Hello po. May offer po ako both sa Sydney and Brisbane. But my main concern is si Husband. He's an architect here in the PH, isasama ko po sya. San po kaya mas may chance na may makuha sya na work related to his field. Thank you!

@danced22622 You can take a look at seek.com.au and filter by both Sydney and Brisbane — that's the primary job site as far as I know. Check LinkedIn as well! Job postings are always good indicators of skill demand in a particular area. Congratulations and best of luck!

Unfortunately ndi straightaway makakapag-practice si husband mo as architect sa australia without undergoing any local study like master’s or other any similar/equivalent studies. The fastest/closest related work i could see is architectural draftsperson. But correct me if i’m wrong. Architect dn kc wife ko and so far from nababasa nmen ganun na nga ang current scenario. Hope to help and goodluck.

Yup, actually we're not expecting him to practice architecture agad, just any related field or work like yeah, draftperson. Assessing lang po if there's a shot in brisbane coz we wanted to go there, but sydney has more of the opportunities so we're kinda torn

Sydney has the most opportunities but competition is also higher since its a bigger city. You can try scanning seek and filtering the city for comparison of job opportunities your’re after atleast it can give you an overview which companies and work are available. Hope to help and goodluck.

Good luck, I am in Sydney, and I love it here. I think either city, job hunting is not that easy. Ok naman na you base you decision sa job opportunities. For me lang, hindi straight forward or black and white and job opportunities. Ang suggestion ko, choose a state na you like better since you do have that option. Iba iba kasi personalities ng states dito. Like sydney and brisbane, magka ibang magka iba yung feel nila. If kaya niyo visit niyo both both places, have a feel for it. Check niyo kung saan yung mas feel niyo or yung tumatawag sa inyo then dun kayo sumugal. Good luck, all the best.
