No na po , not even needed to disclose , immigrant na po kayo and not tied to any employer.IO is absurd if he referred you to OWWA to issue an OEC dahil hindi na kayo lalabas as OFW

Okay lang yan so long as not > Aud 10k. If not confident, declare. Better safe than sorry.

Big move ko na this June and will submit my resignation this April last week (2 months notice). First 1-2 months Airnbnb muna, pero mas mahal sa airbnb kung pang matagalan.

May nakahanap po ba dito sa pinoy sydney accommodation group sa facebook ng mga for rent?
May mga mas mura din sa gumtree pero parang mas safe yata sa pinoy groups.

Applied last 05 February 2024 and approved lang last week. As per mygov account, 3-4 weeks ipapadala ang card,

Hi - i've successfully made the big move. Salamat sa mga advice. Now im waiting for my Medicare ID.

Question on linking TFN - ATO with MyGov, hindi ako makatawag (peak demand daw) para sa Linking code. Is there any tip to call them? Time of the day.

Sakto kahapon ko lang ginawa 'to. Mga 8AM Sydney/Melb time ako tumawag. Nakaconnect ako agad. Nakuha ko linking code in 10 mins. Medyo tumagal lang sa verification kasi daming tinanong (e.g. TFN application reference number, passport details, birthday, etc.).

You can call them after 6 PM and they will give you your Medicare number. You can have a checkup na kahit wala pa yung card.

Hello mga kabayan, magask lang sana ako sa recently na nag Big Move na PR. Sa case kasi namin wala talaga kaming kakilala sa Melbourne. End of April na ang flight namin and naka airbnb kami ng 1month. Tanong ko lang, ano pong address ang ginamit nio sa pagaapply nio ng bank accounts,TFN, medicare..etc? Hindi ko kasi sure kung iallow ba nung aribnb namin na gamitin yung address nila in case may mail na mga cards or documents like sa medicare na nakikita ko na 3-4weeks isesend nila yung cards. Sana po may makasagot, mejo kinakabahan ako dahil wala pa kaming permanent na bahay at wala talaga kami kakilala sa Melbourne. Maraming salamat po.

@mjp19 Hmm, sana ni-check nyo muna dun sa owner kung pwede mag receive ng mails. That's what we did, before booking the place to begin with since we already anticipated this to happen.

But since andyan na, at naka book na kayo, I think you can still try to ask them. If in the end, di talaga pwede, then rent a mailbox na nga lang as suggested. Di ko sure pano ang logistics nyan though hehe, so personally wala ako mashare.

Hello, kakaBM ko lang po 3.5 weeks ago. Natry ko po maglease ng PO Box from Australia Post.

Bale gumawa lang po ako ng account sa Australia Post website: https://auspost.com.au/mypost/dashboard/

Tapos naglease ako ng PO Box via the website. 12 months po yung lease tapos around 250 aud (price will depend sa type ng PO box).

On the day of my arrival, pumunta ako sa Australia Post office branch kung san located yung PO Box ko for ID verification (passport lang) and para i-claim yung keys sa PO Box.

Nagamit ko yung PO Box as postal address sa bank, TFN, and Medicare. Natanggap ko na yung galing sa bank and TFN. Waiting for Medicare na lang.

Hindi na din ako nakapili ng Airbnb na may access to mailbox kasi biglaan lang na nagkajob offer nung Feb so kinelangan na magBM nung March kaya yung PO Box option na lang ginawa ko.

Kaka BM ko lng po with family a month ago sa Qld & 10 days lng kmi sa airbnb. (not a PR yet) Regarding sa address, pumayag namn un host na gamitin ang postal add nya. Dahil wala pa kmi mahanap n bahay, I used my Airbnb host’s postal address for all of our applications: sim, bank, TFN, Medicare, CV, etc. Regarding sa timeline, madali lang un sa bank and TFN like 2 weeks lng. Sa medicare you can call them at 132 011 anytime after mo masend un enrollment just to ask confirmation na nareceive nila un email.

So yes, its totally fine. you can request your host’s permission to use their postal address temporarily, and you can even borrow a copy of their mailbox key until you settle in a permanent place. Once you have your permanent postal address, you can simply update it on the myGov or bank app, etc.

Hi usually di ba binibigay nung bank staff yung swiftcode/BSB combination ng aus account and kung ano exactly ilalagay so that you can receive money overseas?Yung info from PH madali lang, pero kelangan accurate yung receiving aus account details. I transfer funds to my aus account pero from SG and vv using the combination the teller gave me. You can contact them. Nasa account confirmation page yung same details.

I transfer funds to my aus account pero from SG and vv using the combination the teller gave me. You can contact them. Nasa account confirmation page yung same details.
