Hi All-

I received an invitation to apply for 491 visa just this week. Ang question ko lang pag nagrant na ba ung visa ko need ba ng mga POEA documents pa? Eh kung wala ka pang work pag entry sa Australia.

Tapos madali lang ba mag apply ng work? At san ang magandang regional NSW? Kasi diba pag 491 hindi pede muna sa greater Sydney?

Yes, if you check their post codes, pasok sila sa definition ng regional area

From what I've seen, they are trying to market Wollongong as a hub for Tech startups, so hopefully there's opportunity for you there.

It only refers to their Economic plans. Both are excluded since they are major hubs already. By DHA definition both still fall under Regional.

5 months na kami naka lodge. Still waiting parin ma grant. Tapos na kami medical at biometric. Pero may group kasi about sa fake agency tapos nakita ko name nila na baka list. Meron nman sila office dito sa uae. May mga recibo namn lahat. Like biometric namin at Medical. Meron nman HAP id. Still di parin ako mapakali.

U can check maybe if legit ung medicals niyo. Since u have an agent i think wala kayung access sa Immiaccount niyo. Maybe if u check ur emedical, thats a sign na nakalodge tlaga kayu. Check it here :

Check the MARA number. There are a lot of agencies outside of Australia providing such services but they are not registered agents. Best to ask for their MARA number but then again there are also those agents who charge a fee so businesses can use and claim that they are working with a migration agent when in reality they don’t. Be careful…unfortunately Australian government does not have a way to address such issues with unscrupulous businesses operating outside of Australia.

If I recall correctly, walang tinanong na preferred region sa application namin for NSW nomination. This was last November 2022.

Kakareceive ko lang ng invitation just over a week ago; nagfill up ng Form 80 these past few days; kumuha ng COC kanina sa Cantonment; waiting for my fingerprinting sa embassy. I'm not sure kung anong stage, pero yan mga ginagawa ko. Pre-lodging stage?
