Employability Statement for ACT 491 Visa

Hi All,

I'm just new here. I recently got an invitation to apply for ACT 491 Nomination, my nominated job is Graphic Designer. One of the requirements is an ACT Employability Statement. May gumawa na ba ng ganito before? Any templates or guides for this? Thanks for any replies for this, I appreciate it.

Parang essay yan, ipapakita mo yung mga nahanap mo na available job postings and explain how your current skills would qualify you for that. Be as detailed as possible. Maganda din if you can find at least 6 openings from different sites (Seek, etc.)

Yan pinaka mahirap sa ACT. I remember i was invited twice jan. Kaso diko mafullfill yang requirements na yan dahil sobrang onti ng hiring. At our time, ang timeline ng job na dapat makita mo is within two weeks ng pag apply mo. So dapat recent mga mahahanap mong work.

Salamat dito! Nagets ko na gagawin. Pansin ko naman na nakakakita ako ng job opportunities related sa Graphic Designer na walang security clearance requirement. Sana good enough yung magagawa kong statement.

Cybersecurity ang marami sa ACT. And you need Security Clearance. Government jobs ang marami sa ACT. And it is usually available sa citizen lang. Doctors and maraming doctors ang need nila. Syempre may mangilan ngilan lang kasi sobrang liit lang ang area ng capital ng Australia.

Hmmm, part ng proof to ng employability is to provide at least 5 job advertisement ng occupation mo within 14days ng invite date mo sa ACT. That's how I it was 3years ago. Kindly check of they still require that this year. Or iba na hinihingi nilang prpof of employability.

Pre-invite, no need pa. Pero once invited ka na, need mo ng employability statement. Sa case ko, dinescribe ko lang yung experience ko as a graphic designer, paano ako employable, tapos nagpakita ako ng 5 examples ng job postings na eligible ako applayan.

Pre-invite, no need pa. Pero once invited ka na, need mo ng employability statement. Sa case ko, dinescribe ko lang yung experience ko as a graphic designer, paano ako employable, tapos nagpakita ako ng 5 examples ng job postings na eligible ako applayan.

Oh i missed the question, yes. Once invited, dun mo lang ipeprepare ung employability statement.

LONG POST AHEAD**

Question po sa mga nagclaim ng canberra matrix 5 points for visiting ACT for 7 consecutive days.
I have visited kasi ACT before when my sibling is still based in ACT and I am planning to claim the Canberra Matrix 5 points.

1) Ano po yung mga proof po na pinakita nyo for this? And naging positive naman po ba ang result after pre-invite?
2) Will the following evidence will suffice as proof kung mag claim po ako?
...My Sister's = tenancy agreement, bills, and bank transactions (proof that she lives in ACT during my visits)
...My sister's and my document = birth certificates to prove our relationship as siblings
...My document = flights, bus tickets invoices, 1 single receipt of transaction in ACT and few photos.

Here is the statement from Canberra Matrix kasi

"Proof of a seven day (consecutive) visit to Canberra, including date of arrival and departure, accommodation receipts or evidence of close family ties, and flight itinerary. A statement about staying with friends / family is not proof."

I am worried kasi na baka magclaim ako pero yun pala yung documents na iprovide ko is not enough as proof. I do not have an accommodation receipts as I stayed at my sisters place and I was not able to save receipts of daily expenses (wala din sa bank statements ko).

Kung balak mo magclaim ng points dapat nagpagawa ka nung nasa canberra ng photo id, ang laking impact yun and 7 audollars lang. Detailed na ginawa niyo itinenary nung nasa canberra ka yung mga binisita niyo, alangan sa bahay ka lang and nanood ng tv. Yung bag receipt di ba may naksulat doon na canberra. Yung mga binisita niyo na art gallery, sinehhan, tickets nun.

• flight tickets (my flight is Sydney)
• bus invoices (going to canberra from sydney)
• 1 receipt transaction in ACT (ito lang po nahanap ko na naitabi ko)
• Photos in Canberra

Unfortunately, I was not able to save na yung mga receipt of transaction nung 2017 and 2018 visit ko.
Ngayon ko lang din po nalaman na pwede po pala magpagawa ng photo ID even if visitor lang ako that time.

BTW, thank you po sa tip. I will try to prepare documentation with pictures nung nag visit ako on both times with timelines.

Ikwento mo nalang yung day to day activities mo, upon arrival sa sydney, pumunta kayo sa canberra, picture picture siyemre kayo dyan. Yung mahabang kwento, then yung huli sa body na may picture rin yung departure mo sa canberra, and sydney. Na magcocollaborate sa ticket mo. For sure naman may picture ka kahit papaano. Kasi visitor ka, alangan walang picture sa memories hehe.

Di ako nagclaim ng 5 pts, pero magandang explanation yun... Use STAR method para mahaba. Situation, Task, Action Result. Or Introduction, Body, Concluding. Gustong gusto nila mahabang kwento pero syempre detailed. Kaya mo yan, sana maalala mo pa. Dapat magcollaborate ang kwento mo sa flight ticket papuntang sydney, pictures and receipt.
