From 1 July 2023, the TSMIT will increase from $53,900 to $70,000. New nomination applications after this date will need to meet the new TSMIT of $70,000 or the annual market salary rate, whichever is higher.
This change will not affect existing visa holders and approved nominations lodged before 1 July 2023.

Affected pa po ba ang granted na ng 491 before July 1?

Wala pa talaga explicit mention ng 491 being affected by the TSMIT. Puro pang 482 yan. Maski sa immi page hindi pa nakadefine yung 'taxable income' na need for the 191 visa, kaya hanggang ngayon wala pa naggrant nun. Let's wait for more news, sana by July may linaw na.

i think yung application ng 491 visa itself ay hindi affected nung salary threshold na 70000$/Annually. But when you apply for 191 permanent visa (yan yung pathway for the 491 visa), they are going to check your ATO notice of assessment for the past 3 years if you met the annual salary threshold for each year.
