i make this thread para sa may mga problems with their coe..actually i experience that problem too.,when my manager refuse to sign my detialed coe kasi he reasoned out to me na ang standard ng coe ay yung position mlang ang ininilagay kahit anong pakiusap ang ginawa ko..nagconsult ako sa abugado how to deal with this problem hindi nman ako pwedeng gumawa o kopyahin ang letterhead ng company namin without the knowledge of our hr kasi bawal yyun at pwede akong kasuhan,pag gumawa ako ng detaiked job description ko at pinasign with my superior without attaching the signature of our manager(as noted) hinde rin pwede because ayaw rin ng manager ko ang ganun...so what i did is humingi ako ng coe sa manager namin that contains my position with the letter head of our company,then gumawa ako ng job description ko with the name of our company at the top( not letterhead)at pinapirma ko sa superior ko with tel number para kung gagawa sila ng backroud check pwede nilang tawagan..when i sent to immi, i included all my payslip,memo,itr and sss and philhealth,and pag ibig mdr or membership form..

Up to now nag hihintay pko ng result kasi dipa nagresponce ang c.o ko eventhought i wrote him already...keep u all the updates..

Hi sheep, nakikiramay ako sa situation mo. grabe naman yang manager mo. First of all, ayaw ba niyang maging part ng paggrow ng isang employee? Sorry pero ang tingin ko napaka-selfish ng manager mo. hindi karapat dapat na maging manager ang ganyang tao, he/she should be thinking of the best for his/her employees. bakit kaya may mga ganyang magisip? hindi ata pinalaki ng maayos ng magulang. hayaan mo may karma rin yan.

hi jayjee..actually hindi nag iisa yang manager ko..marami cila sa pilipinas..nakaklungkot lang daht sa marami ang walang trabaho d2 sa pinas maraming mga negosyante ang nagsasamantala..so kahit masama ang loob mo..wala ka pa ring magawa dahil gsto mo ng trabaho...

@sheep same thing happened to me.. unfortunately the companies I worked for didn't approve of my detailed job description stating that they have their own "templates".. i think that's when the statutory declaration comes in.. that's exactly what I did and attached it to my COE

on the stat dec, i indicated all the important information missing from the "generic" COE provided by my previous employers.. had it signed by a lawyer and passed it to my agent. Bahala na ang immigration mag verify nun.. I'm confident naman na everything I've written on the stat dec were true..

a lot of companies esp ung mga MNC na wont issue a detailed COE, dahil nga me sarili silang template. ang ginawa ko is i askedour Hr to give me a letter stating na they dont issue a detailec COE.

@jimbob, hindi ko na nasubmit un letter from hr stating di sila nagiissue ng coe. kasi at the last minute, napilit ko un manager ko na mag bigay ng coe sa akin.

@bonzi, ganon ba, sa company ko imposible na magbibigay cla ng detailed job description, siguradong pag-iinitan ako ng boss ko, medyo alanganin na akong magpatuloy sa OZ, ano pa kaya pwedeng gawin, help naman po.

@jimbob pedeng statutory declaration ang i-submit mo kung hindi ka mabibigyan ng detailed employment certificate... together with supporting documents to prove your claims on your skills.

tinatawagan ba talaga ng DIAC ung mga companies na pinagtrabahuhan for confirmation? or basta kumpleto ung details ng COE, di na nila bini-verify? thanks.

yup,in my case tumawag sa hr nmin at tinanong ang mga details at kung sino ang nkapirma at ano ang posisyon ko at ilan nag hawak kong tao..at ano pang mga trabaho ko...

@sheep, thanks. tumawag dun sa landline ng HR nio or sa mobile number ng HR? and also, lahat ng companies na pinasukan mo tinawagan talaga or ung current company mo lang? balak ko pa naman sana na wag ng ipaalam sa amo ko,pero kung tatawagan nila i have no choice. salamat po

sa landline nmin tumawg at sa current emplyer ko di ko alam if sa previous compan y ko tumawag din....yung hr ang hinanap kahit wala siyang signature doon...to be sure ipaalam mo sa amo mo hnap klang ng rason pwedeng sabihin mna nag apply ka pero it take 5 years ang approval pero baka tawagan siya for confirmation lang.....

Meron po ba dito nakapag-submit ng application sa ACS na 1 of the past employers COE lang ang binigay, pero meron nman job title, salary, and employment duration pero wala detailed duties and responsibilities? Ayaw kasi magbigay ng HR pati mga manager kasi daw confidential. Pero meron naman letter stating na ayun nga confidential. Tingin nyo may chance pa din kaya sa ACS mabigyan ng positive skills assessment ito? Thanks.

Ito yung hinaharap ko ngayon..Problem with COE. sa 3 Companies na napasukan ko Generic lang talaga binibigay nila. I tatry ko yung may Stat Dec. kaso parang di ako makapag simula kasi diko alam gawin. Pa tulong naman..Thanks

If gusto mo po talaga gumawa ng statutory declaration, ito po yun templates.

Although yun ACS application ko po hindi na ako gumawa nyan, pwede ka po gumawa na lang ng detailed document. Sa 1st paragraph ilagay nyo po un similar sa generic COE na binigay sa inyo. Yun nag-state ng name, position, etc mo. And then following paragraphs un main duties and responsibilities mo. If hindi confidential sa company, ilagay mo na din projects mo and technologies/languages na ginamit. Don't forget ilagay mo din part/full time, # of hours per week. Addressee ko is si ACS. Tapos sa baba signatory is colleague mo na mas mataas position sa iyo sa company. Mas okay if manager mo. Then if he/she is kind enough, ask mo if pwede ilagay contact number nila dun + email add. Tapos pa-sign mo sa kanya. Since wala ka company letterhead, ipa-sign mo sa kanya ng blue ink. Para magamit mo pa sa pag-apply sa DIAC since magmukha sya colored (colored = mukhang original talaga).

Bonus na din if pumayag sya na ipa-photocopy mo yun company ID niya, then sa photocopy ipa-sign mo ulit with printed name and date.

Ayun okay na yun, pwede mo na i-pass sa ACS. Reason ko naman kaya hindi na ako nagpa-statutory declaration kasi hassle din, ipa-notaryo ko pa. Mas nadalian ako dun sa reference letter na lang kasi similar din yun sa nasa CV ko. Hope this helps.

Not sure. Kasi ako yun mga pinagawan ko ng reference letter, I photocopied their IDs tapos sinama ko dun sa document. Pwede din if meron siya company calling card. Basta ang kailangan is proof na connected siya with the company na pinagtrabahuhan mo.

Crabe mentality talaga.. @Sheep: Ako din may bagong boss ako dati na naassign ako ayaw nyang pirmahan ang detailed job description ko.. Ang daming drama.. Buti na lang pumayag ang dating boss ko na magsign.. Sa awa naman ng dyos, nakapasa ako .

@hanson: Pwede boss mo dati basta mega drama mode ka sa stat dec.. Good Luck

question lang po.kailangan pa ba ng COE pag less than 1 year ang employment period? kailangan po ba na may COE lahat ng employment na nakalagay sa CV or dapat yung 1year and above lang? Thanks

Putting things into perspective, tama ang manager into not signing any document with unofficial format that will misrepresent the company... If may standard COE ang company, yun lang ang pwedeng i-issue offically under it's name (letterhead)... Pag pumirma ang manager sa ibang layout or nag-deviate from the standard format, baka siya pa ang masibak...

On my experience, ACS recognizes this (and DIAC I think), that's why they have the "statutory declaration" alternative, wherein you have to create an affdavit stating yung detailed work experience and all you have to do is have a supervisor (not necessarily a manager but anyone from your team that occupies a higher position than you) to provide a personal alignment (not an official company alignment) and contact details for reference ng immigration authorities...

If you guys need more info aroundd this, the ACS (australian computer society) related threads in this forum may have every info you'll need in going around cases like this... You just have to backread a bit to 3Q 2011 I think where a lot of folks here (including me) had been throwing ideas on how to best work around this hitch.
