The New South Wales state government has released an updated version of its State Migration Plan (SMP) including new occupations eligible for state sponsorship.

@batman, depende sa state...yung in demand sa isang state not necessarily the same for others.

anu po ba ang specialty nyo as teacher ang dami po kasi na klase na teacher from nursery montersori secondary primary at anu ang major subject na itinuturo po. nakita nyo na po ba kung anu skilled number ng teacher na aaplyan mo. malalalaman mo kung saan ka magpapa assessment. try mo muna mag take ng IELTS at kung nakuha passing score for teacher thats the first sign na may chance ka then try mo na naman ang assessment. kung pumasa ka naman sa assessment then tuloy mo na mag apply ng visa. one step at a time muna maam. cheers

Yup, yan nga nakita ko sa SOL kaso Bachelor degree ko for Secondary but most of my experience sa Primary, so hindi sya nakasakto sa SOL ...Yun nga balak ko to take IELTS first and if I get the passing score according to required points for teachers then that's my sign to pursue applying for the visa. Thanks for the feedback.

hi kung ako sa iyo kumilos kana agad.. hanapin mo na agad sa immi.gov.au kung saan mag pa assessment ang primary teacher check mo ang website at makikita mo ang contact email nila then tanungin mo ang gusto mong tanungin sa kanila by email. tanungin mo kung puede o qualified ka mag pa assessment even ang natapos mo secondary tapos tanungin mo kung anu ang passing grade sa ielts at kung may iba pa bang exam na kukunin. then nasagot na lahat ang tanung mo.

nasa immi.gov.au lang naman ang kasagutan ng mga tanung mo sipagin mo lang mag click ng mag click sa mouse at basahin mo maiigi kung anu nakasaad dun. kung gusto i translate sa tagalog copy paste mo sa google traslate from English to filipino.

one step at a time muna maam. kung na meet mo yung passing score sa ielts then thats will of GOD. I think may iba pang english exam for teacher then another step na naman.

I think no problem kung grad ka sa secondary at applyan mo primary kung may experience ka sa primary as long as ma meet mo yung number of years of work experience in primary at iba pang qualification. pero mabuti pa magtanung ka muna sa assessment agency ng teacher kung puede. lahat ng tanung mo sagot lahat. goodluck

Thanks for the comments...will do the necessary actions...Good luck as well to u Lokijr and to all those pursuing the visa....dito na naman pumpasok yung negative thoughts ko na what if I get the visa, but my life there would not work well as I expected??? I'm going back where, to whom can I turn to I don't know anyone there??? I'm having head ache now.... #:-s

@gemini, basta po gawin nyong priority makakuha ng visa...pag granted na yan hanap kayo ng trabaho sa mga seek.com.au para pag punta niyo Australia may trabaho na, wala nang lull time

haay naku... unahin mo muna mag pa assessment iha... bago mo isipin ang visa application... hwag ka muna lumaktaw o tumalon sa kabila unahin mo muna ang nasa una. step in step out step in step out. challege ika nga yan parang negosyo yan investmet kailangan handa ka malugi o lumago negosyo mo. cheers

may pharmacist ba dito? hehe. i'm just glad that "pharmacist" is back sa SOL. naalis kasi nung 2010 pero binalik din this july. my docs were already assessed by Australian Pharmacy Council, OK na ung 7.5 IELTS requirement ko so next step is to take the Php70K worth exam dito sa Makati.

I checked all the state requirements for regional sponsorship and I think all of them are requiring that you have this specific amount of fund to qualify....sa GSM SOL naman walang Primary Teacher :-| sigh..although my bachelor degree is Secondary Teacher but I have only one year experience on it.....ano pa kayang ibang pathway na walang required na fund? Naku, lumagtaw na naman utak ko, I should be concentrating on the first step which is IELTS....but of course the purpose of IELTS is to apply for a visa. If I can't find a suitable visa for me, why do I need to take IELTS, di ba? :-| just a thought....Cheers!

syempre di ka muna mag take ng IELTS kung wala naman applicable visa sa skilled mo. I advise you mag pa initial assesment ka muna kaya sa MARA agent mas kabisado nila ang details sa visa. try mo libre lang naman yun eh. mag email ka sa kanila at padalhan ka ng form. cheers

@gemini23, ma'am kung Skilled Visa ang habol niyo mas mainam siguro inominate niyo na lang yung Secondary Teacher at least well justified siya...Mababa makukuha niyo points sa work experience pero bawi na lang kayo sa Age, Educational Background at IELTS ...aabot pa kayo sa 65 points niyan

@LokiJr it's like an equivalency exam for pharmacists. After that, I can now apply for visa. If granted, I will be undergoing trainings sa chemist/drugstore pero may mga pag-aaral pang kasama.

In our case, before I can take the exam, dapat may IELTS muna ako. I had 2 attempts before I met Australian Pharmacy Council's 7.5 band score reqt. Ang taas! T'was 7 lang nung 1st take ko.

@bumblebenny..try sa fil.com.au smay online application mayroong pharmacist doon na nasa aust na at nagtra training for pharmacist..maybe you can ask her about some of your problem....
