South Australia - migration program year 2024-2025

The South Australia government delegates are currently in the UK to provide some snippets of what’s to be expected for 2024-2025 migration program year. Met up with them for coffee today so just sharing info I could share for now - they’re hoping more allocations given to them and they think they would compared to the current program year, construction sector is on their critical list, health and education still in priority list, ICT - they also still need.

More detailed update later once they know more about the federal government’s budget plan for the coming financial year. I’ll share once I get updates later.

Thanks and that construction is gaining traction as housing is a big issue not only in SA but country wide and that AU needs to tap more workers to increase supply in such a very short span of time. A whopping 1.2M housing commitment to build by the federal government is not a joke.
I believe this issue will be an election standpoint by either parties to stay in power or to swing votes.
