* My ACS assessment states that i can only claim points for my employment after August 2011 - this means I can not claim any points for skilled employment kasi less than 3 yrs ung 'skilled employment' ko
* I'm filling out the visa application form for visa 190
* In the "Employment in nominated occupation" section, will I mark it "NO"? Worried lang ako kasi baka pag-nilagay ko NO, baka ma-refuse kagad visa application since wala ako 'skilled employment experience' or less than the minimum required 3 yrs ung exp ko. Has anyone here gone thru the same situation?
TIA!

In paying visa 190 online, how to pay in credit card when amount of visa fee is higher than my credit card limit?
Can I pay half using my cc then half using wife’s cc?

Talk to your credit card provider on what they can suggest; you can probably ask for a temporary increase in credit limit.

Hi @IslanderndCity, try mo magpa increase ng limit..
matagal ka na ba sa Credit Card company mo?
i think ang requirements nila ay:
COE
BIR Form 2316
Letter of request to increase the limit
Latest Payslip
Yan yung binigay ko dati, fortunately na approve naman
Basta good standing ang credit history mo, walang overdue payments, maapprove ka for sure

Sabi ng CC agent ko sa SG, I can deposit money to my CC account to add to my CC limit & enough to reach the amount I need to pay my visa. For instance, my CC limit is 3K while visa fee is 6.5K, so I need to deposit cash 3.5K. I will do this once i-invite na po ako to lodge visa in God's will.

I read somewhere that there will be jobs that will be taken out of the SOL come July 2014, and among the candidates is my occupation. I just finished submitting my application for assessment.
My questions are:
1. Is it possible that I'm disallowed to continue my application should my occupation be removed from SOL?
2. Which step is considered to be the FIRST step towards visa application, skills assessment or the actual lodging of the application?
The reason I'm asking is that I'm worried about this scenario:
- I get a positive result for my skills assessment and get an invitation to apply but I might not be allowed to apply if my occupation is removed from SOL.
Is this possible? Hope someone can help.
Thanks!
My Timeline:
28 Mar 2014 - Submitted ACS Skills Assessment
10 May 2014 - Took IELTS (General)
26 May 2014 - Received ACS Skills Assessment Result: Suitable

You also need an IELTS which may come before or after you apply for skills assessment - check your assessing body for their specific requirements.
Assuming you get a positive skills assessment and you get an invitation to apply; good as safe ka na as long as you will lodge your visa application within the given timeframe. It doesn't matter if natanggal yung nominated skills mo in the SOL.
Act now before it is too late... This takes time! All the best.

Thanks for replying. So as long as I get the invitation to apply, then I should be ok right?
I hope thing work out and I don't get caught up in the middle of the removals in SOL.
