A bit tough to get a job in Australia for call centre position as most of the jobs in that field are outsourced to low cost countries like the Philippines...

If they have a call centre man in Australia, they would usually prefer locals who has the Australian accent.

I;m working in a call centre 🙂 . I got here 8 months ago and I dont know but I was lucky enough to got in even without a hint of aussie accent. Yung ibang companies experience, I think, yung tinitingnan. If you have experienced from other countries not just phil, I think that can help and apply lng ng apply 🙂

@bea2001ph I'm curious what happened to your application... there is an occupation listed as 313112: ICT CUSTOMER SUPPORT OFFICER

Description: Provides support, education and guidance in the deployment and maintenance of computer infrastructure and the diagnosis and resolution of technical problems and issues. May work in a call centre.

Nasa CSOL naman and this is assessed by TRA. Usually sa Pinas I think this is the tech suport post.

I recently got invited for an online interview for a customer contact officer. off shore pa din ako and may more than a year experience ako sa call centre. sana makakuha ng job offer. hayy
