    I had my speaking test yesterday here in the Philippines. This time, I went for British Council. My examiner was a Filipina.

    Task 1 was about hometown and much about being polite.

    Task 2: Tell me about what you like wearing during special occasions.

    Task 3. Uniform. Formal dress. Nationalisic attire. Nationalistic programs.

    In task 2, I made up my answer. I was surprised that my examiner laughed at the very point I ended my first sentence. And for about 20 seconds she was trying to contain her laughter.

    I know that my answer was really surprising. But I was thinking that I made a wrong response. Still, I continued although it wasnt really well organized.

    For the last two writing exams, I followed the format of the review center.

    1st, too long, I am not sure if I achieved the task response part. I got 6.5.

    2nd, too long again, I fully answer the question. 6.5 again.

    I will try to make my essay shorter and well-planned.

    Me too. I now pattern my writing style with Simon's suggestions. I try to mix it as well with the lessons in WriteFix.com
    @Born - I followed IELTS Ryan pattern.
    @filipinacpa - practice more and more.

    I am taking test and remark this time i'll go IDP SG

    Hi guys, im not convinced sa results ng exam ko especially L and W. Im short of 0.5 and i am planning to file for remarking. What do u think is the chances of getting it pass to 7.0 for L and W? Any experience about this?

    April 30, 2014: EA Skills Letter received - IE 233511
    Oct 22, 2014: NSW confirmed my application was received in
    their system. SRN 1858 & 1867.
    Jan 12, 2015: Received NSW SS approval. Thank you Lord!
    Jan 12, 2015: Received Invitation to lodge Visa Subclass 190
    from DIBP. Thank you Lord!
    Jan 16, 2015: Lodged Visa Subclass 190 application (Family of 4)
    Visa fee charged to my credit card.
    Feb 20, 2015: CO allocated (Adelaide GSM Team5),
    requested for Form 80.
    Mar 03, 2015: Visa Grant. Thank you Lord!!!
    Aug 28, 2015: Last working day as Senior SQE.
    Sept 27,2015: Big Move to NSW Australia.
    Jan 11, 2016: Started working as SQE in ResMed.

    I don't recommend asking for your reading or listening paper to be re-marked. Reading and listening questions are either right or wrong, so it's unlikely that your scores will change. Like for me sa Reading e short din ng .5 for an extra point sana pero I doubt na by doing a remark e tataas pa score ko.

    Kung sa IDP ka e by 2PM-3PM pa ma-upload un based on my experience previously.

    Hi, I am afraid that if you try to remark your score for Listening, there is a very low chance that it will change. This is based on other's advice and experience as well. This is the same for reading too.
