    @pinoytalker goodluck sa exam! tip ko lang kumain kn ng heavy bfast kasi nung nagexam ako nun late na nagstart kaya late na din natapos kaya nalipasan na din ng gutom.

    @pinoytalker Good luck on your exams! Make sure you identify what kind of essay is required based on the question. if you're confident with your grammar, i suggest just concentrate on contents. Read articles, news, watch documentaries, listen to interviews and get ideas. Para sa kin yun ang pinaka challenge. Doesn't matter if your opinion is right or wrong.. as long as you're able to explain it and write it without or very minimal errors. Focus on answering the questions.. make sure you cover everything. And watch out for punctuations. Unleash the opinionated version of yourself para marami ang masulat :D

    Wag ka rin kakabahan masyado.. Kung nagready ka naman just pray for calmness, confidence and focus :D

    Helpful sa writing yung writefix.com and ielts-blog.com. I also watched TED talks para may idea ako about certain topics.

    Tapos ang inaral ko naman is ace the ielts na book. Nakuha ko lang din here yung pdf.

    Question sa speaking ko, when you're stressed at work, where do you go to relax? sa part 3 naman, ano ginagawa ng companies para makapagrelax ang employees at work. Medyo disappointed ako sa score ko, kasi nasagot ko naman lahat and wala naman akong wrong grammar, I think. But di kasi ako gumamit ng idioms and yung mga firstly, furthermore. so baka mababa ako sa coherence.

    Sa writing naman, part 1 - write a complaint letter to your landlord about the increase of rent.
    part 2 - advantages and disadvantages of technology sa communication with families and friends today

    Sa listening, alisin ang kaba, and focus! underline keywords :)

    Sa reading, I read muna the questions para alam ko alin watch out ko. Unlike sa tips na wag basahin lahat ng sentences sa paragraphs, binasa ko lahat. hirap kasi intindihin pag topic sentence lang. Tayong mga pinoy, magaling tayo magbasa. Matatapos yung exam before 1 hour, so I suggest read and understand carefully. :)

    Ask ko lang sana kung ano yung specific instruction sa Reading dun sa True False Not Given na section: Write T/F/NG ba or Write "True" / "False" / "Not Given" ?
    Gusto ko kasi malaman if yan ung reason baket ang baba ng nakuha ko sa Reading - i.e not reading the instruction carefully :-(

    Who else take the ielts last oct 31 with idp? Di na ko makatulog di pa rin published yung result. Sabi nila 3pm ph time till jow wala pa.. Sobrang katakot yung speaking haha.. Personal experience thread lightly in answering and dont make scripts for the intro nabigyan tuloy ako agad ng impromptu kahit part 1 palang ahaha

    usually ang testing centers may lockers..n my case since mga 200plus kami nag take sa school pinapunta kami sa isang room and nilagay sa zipped lock bag ang things (phone, watch..etc) then may claim tag ..nakuha lg namin pagkatapos ng exam..

    @khatt23 hi Cathy, nag take din ako ng IELTS couple of months ago with the results on my ticker.. I prepared for 8 days for the written exam. Hindi masyado maganda yung result dahil may 6.0 ako na score. But I depended on youtube (highly recommended si Emma) and the tips given on this thread when you start from page 1. There are links here as well if you will read through. Will be very helpful din sayo as you can also read and learn from the experiences of others who took the exam. Good luck sa exam mo.. :)>-

    June 14 2016 - PTE Acad LRWS 90/83/87/90 - 20 points!
    June 23 2016 - Submitted req to ACS
    July 7 2016 - ACS assessment received < 5 years. Sent email for
    reassessment
    July 8 2016 - ACS result update 5 years credited (75pts)
    July 14 2016 - Sent EOI
    July 28 2016 - Got my NBI Clearance
    Aug 2 2016 - Received ITA
    Aug 9 2016 - Lodged Visa
    Aug 12 2016 - took Medical Exam
    Aug 15 2016 - sent Medical results. No action needed.

    @se29m Thank you for the info. Actually this is my first time to take IELTS I don't have any idea how it is conducted that's why naghanap ako ng thread na pwede ko makuhaan nang other information..Yung sister ko kasi asa Canada na at kinukuha ako to migrate din doon and one of the requirements nga is the IELTS band 7-8 ung preffered na score. Balak ko din mag enrol sa review center. hmmmm do you still have the review materials? nakakahiya man pero pwede makahingi kahit soft copy lang? Thanks :D
