    Hello po! Tanong lang po sa mga Kumuha lately ng IELTS exam. Nakasulat na po ba sa results niyo na valid for three years na ang nakuha niyong band score? Thanks in advance! :)

    Not exactly. Ang nakalagay lang ay: it is recommended that The candidate's language ability as indicated in this TRF be re-assessed after two years from the date of the test.

    My Timeline
    June 30, 2012- Took IDP IELTS Exam in Clark, Pampanga
    July 12, 2012- IELTS Results (L-9, R-7, W-8.5, S-7.5, OB:8.0)
    August 16, 2012- Submitted document for Engineers Australia Skills Assessment (Telecommunications Engineer)
    Dec. 18, 2012- Officially received positive assessment result from EA. Work experience count was wrong, made an appeal to EA.
    Jan. 4, 2013- Submitted EOI
    Jan. 7, 2013- received invitation to apply for Subclass 189 Skilled Migrant Permanent Visa
    Feb 21, 2013- Received correct Assessment Outcome from EA
    March 1, 2013- Received confirmation from DIAC re Visa Application
    April 8, 2013- CO Allocated (Team 6- Adelaide)
    April 12, 2013- Medical Exam
    April 28, 2013- Submitted NBI Clearance
    June 27, 2013- Submitted Saudi PCC
    July 2, 2013- VISA GRANTED!

    Hello po! tanong ko lang... yung pagitan ba ng date ng W/L/R sa Speaking is almost in a week lang, kasi sabi sa BC dun namin malalaman ang speaking test date pag take namin ng W/L/R modules. Salamat.

    it depends. Like for me nauna ang Speaking test 1 week before the W/L/R modules. :) Pde nga rin on the same day... Pero bsta tatawag naman sayo ang BC to confirm the date of the Speaking test if it's gonna be 1 week ahead of the written tests.

    Reply to @Ausbit: online po ba kayo nagbook ng exam? kasi for my case, nung namimili ako ng exam date, pipiliin mo na din ang date na available for speaking exam. ang pinili kong date ay same day ng W/L/R exams. pero yung time ng speaking exam, dun ko na nalaman mismo nung mismong day during the W/L/R exams. not sure kung ganito din sa pinas...dito kasi ako sa SG nagschedule ng exam and via online. :)

    ask ko nman po kasi ung husband ko my employer na sa OZ...pingtake po sya ng IELTS...paano po kung hindi sya nakapasa sa IELTS.di na po ba sya kukunin ng employer nya???

    Reply to @farahalexa: siguro mas maganda kung ask na lang dun sa employer kung ano ba dapat ang target score para malinaw ang lahat. pero kung 6.0 ang score na kelangan (yan kasi ang pagkakaalam kong requirement para sa mga skilled visa)...tingin ko kayang kaya naman po ng husband nyo yun. second language naman po natin ang english. :)

    Whether to enroll in a review center or not, depends on your personal requirements..
    - read the IELTS sample questions, essays, and speaking tips..
    - kung sa palagay nyo eh kaya nyo nmn, eh pwede hindi na mag review center..
    - if you require a higher band score (8) para sa DIAC pts. (20 pts)
    - if you have time to review diligently (self-review)
    - and of course if you have the budget...

    @Yukishih, you can also search sa google, yung search keyword mo gawin mong "cambridge ielts 4shared" tapos lalabas ang maraming links na pwede mo i-download ung mga exercises.

    Do as many exercise as you can to help you familiarize. Visit British Council website/facebook if you're in the Phils, meron silang mga FREE Sessions kung interested kayo. Dun ako bumawi eh. :)

    Sobrang dami nang resources online at pare-pareho lang ang format ng IELTS exam for the past several years. Nagulat nga ako dahil parehong pareho yung introduction ng actual listening test sa practice listening test. Sa sobrang dami ng review materials (both from my friends and online) I had to wade through and pick which ones were easily digestible. Print summarized pointers especially sa written exam and post them on your wall. Practice with actual answer sheets and always gauge your own score according to their guidelines to evaluate your knowledge and boost your confidence.

    @teenZseyer, di po ako Civil Engineer. yung career episodes basta sundin mo lang yung format na makikita sa Engineers Australia. Paka-emphasize mo kung ano ang contribution mo sa episode na yun. I think meron dati dito na nagpost ng sample career episodes niya kaso di rin siya Civil Engineer eh.

    hi! sino po nag exam dito yesterday, aug 4? for me, ok naman yung listening/writing/reading pero kinakabahan ako sa speaking, sumabit kasi ko sa task 2. >_< panu po ba scoring sa speaking, target ko pa naman maka 7 na band score.
